Food just wasn't good. Service was slow. And their menu is limited at best. It was a nice atmosphere though. But you don't really go to a restaurant for atmosphere. So a 1 star

Great place!!! The food was fresh and amazing. Had the appetizer of Dates. I could have made that my meal. Very tasty yum!. Service was pleasant. Great place to eat while relaxing. Can not wait to go back.

Used to really like this place. It used to be called Viva and we really enjoyed it then. The name and menu has recently changed (for the worse). Far fewer menu options than in the past. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite local restaurants.

Just OK. Food was OK, atmosphere OK, and location was above average. The service was not so good. After receiving our food, the waited needed to be asked to bring a check, get a refill, and take my card for payment. The reasonhe was flirting with 4 women stunning near us and didn't have enough time for me and my wife. We used a gift card and probably would not go back again. Overall, just OK.

Really enjoyed this place. Sat at the bar and bartender was very helpful. Perhaps partly because it was dead when I got there but hey, I'll take it! Large menu and I will want to try more next time!

This place use to be great. Come with my boyfriend for dates and never had problem. But our last visit was horrible. Waited 30 before server came out for our drinks, he never knew we were there. Then they spilled oil for the bread on the back of my son's chair and just left it there. Thinking we did not see it. Our food was terrible. Could not eat it with out feeling sick. The waiter never asked us how we were doing through out our meal. They even forgot part of my boyfriend's meal. They changed all of their food. It's not high quality like it use to be. Would not recommend this place at all.

Like many others I also experienced slow service. The restaurant wasn't busy. I'm not sure why it took them so long to deliver the appetizer and bread. I ordered the seafood mac and cheese. There was hardly any seafood in it. But otherwise the food was fine.

I was part of a party of 22 last night for a celebration to a successful show we were a part of over the weekend. We were told we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated even though the place was almost empty. Disappointed in the menu since it has been changed but what I got was good. When the check came they put it all on one bill and refused to separate it. They also added 20% gratuity vs the usual 18% for bigger parties. As we tried to figure out who owed what some people went to the wait staff - who by the way were great - and some when to the hostess and asked for the manger. The hostess was rude and unprofessional and even told a teenager with us that they didn't need our business and didn't need to give us a table! The manager Robert Horton was equally rude and unprofessional and refused to accommodate us in any way. He proceeded to tell us that no restaurant in Berks county will do separate checks for a large party. Collectively we informed him that the past 2 nights we were out with parties of 40 and 70 and both places did separate checks! He said this was their company policy for parties of 25 or more - we had 22. He ended up leaving and left the handling of the checks to the wait staff to figure out. We were also concerned that they would not get their proper tips and/or the last person to pay would be asked to pay any additional which we all told them none of us would do. We will never go there again and since they apparently don't need our business I wonder if they will need other peoples business either.

Formerly Viva, Fields offers an updated menu with an emphasis on American fare - steaks, seafood, salads and pasta. A nice space with a variety of seating options and a spacious bar.

I've been here numerous times and I'm still not very impressed, especially for the prices. Between the slow, inattentive service and the sub-par food, there's much to be desired.

very unsatisfied. Went with multiple friends, ordered mixed drinks like martinis and they were all unsatisfied, including myself because there was barely any alcohol in these drinks. Then I ordered a crab dip, which the platter was decently large but they don't provide you with enough bread. When I asked for more bread I was told I would be charged another $6 for it$6 for 6 tiny slices of hard bread to eat my $11 dip for is ridiculous. They give you all this dip so you almost HAVE TO buy more bread to enjoy it with. I hope they re-evaluate that very soon.

I was here for a birthday party. Everything was great. I had the tender steak with mashed garlic potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli could have been a little more cooked in my opinion. The waiter and waitress were excellent! I can't wait to go back again!
