I know this is a really popular place, but I was pretty underwhelmed. I'm giving it three stars to be generous, because I did like the salsa that came with the chips. I found there wasn't a huge variety, and they weren't very willing to work with customizing a quesadilla. Pretty pricey for the overall value.

My friend found a piece of plastic in her food. They comped her meal, but I was a little surprised the manager never came over. Service was good, water and salsa was filled often. I prob won't go back.

Love the Resturant. Great food,and excellent service. Alex is the best. Always hot fresh chips and salsa. Makes my mom's coffee and the best Arnold Palmers. We eat there once a week.

Service was good. But, my Husband had really wanted to come back to give their Carne Asada Del Charro another try. It's been awhile since we have been here. It's His Birthday so I thought why not take Him out for His Birthday. Well, what a disappointment again! This was the 3rd time. He said He won't be coming back here again. The meat has been done to well and dry. It use to melt in your mouth! So long Cocina del Charro. I told the Server how disappointed he was & that it was His Birthday and what a shame for Him to not be happy with His meal He was so looking forward to eating. The Server did try to make Him happy by giving Him a Birthday desert but He was not impressed with that either. I was not satisfied with My meal either but I'm not a big fan to begin with.

Tasty mexican fare with phenomenal raspberry margaritas! I thought the food was good, just not inventive or over the top but the fruit based margaritas keep me coming back! Try watermelon or peach but I keep going back to the raspberrythe selection of beer was also impressive.

Lourdes is a small Mexican restaurant in Escondido. They have a wonderful chicken soup that has rice and guacamole and they serve it with tortilla. Definitely worth a visit for a nice lunch. They also serve taco etc but I have only had their soup.

Our experience started off on the right foot as we changed the number of guests at the last minute and they were cheerfully able to accommodate us. Three people in our party had the duck and it was prepared perfectly. They have a very extensive wine list, however, the wine prices are very high.
