I bought a new face for my Authentic ROLEX watch. The owner told me that the re-issue black diamond face was not a ROLEX but the same quality, I paid 1200.00 and they said I had to give them my Mother of Pearl Original ROLEX face. I demanded it back, only to find out he gave me something else.

I brought in my engagement and wedding ring last year to get an updated look and merge another diamond ring in the process with it. After looking at many designs on the internet, I changed my mind in the store and went with another design entirely. It's all custom set exactly as I wanted it with my own gold and gems. They ordered the parts needed and the quote, timing and outcome were all exactly as promised. My husband picked it up for me and said "wow". I have had so many compliments on my ring since and I have to admit I love to look at it myself. It's hard to trust any jewelry store with your own stones, but I am so glad I trusted Vanessa Fine Jewelry with mine!

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring here and then we returned to purchase our wedding bands. I'll admit that I am a little "particular" and every single person at Vanessa's Fine Jewelry was patient and helpful throughout the entire process. They were willing to do whatever they could in order to help us get exactly what we wanted. Great professional team that made a big impact on our special day!

We had planned on going to one of those jeweler outlet stores in Tampa since we had a budget on the middle to lower level for an engagement rings. We happened to come across Vanessa's Fine Jewelry while at First Friday at Lakewood Ranch. The staff was extremely helpful and very informative. We never felt like we were pressured to buy, or that they were in a hurry to get the next customer. They have a great selection, for all budgets. We bought ours from here and absolutely love it, and it was under budget! They have custom made rings, that aren't your average "box store" rings. They are stunning, and always offer free cleanings forever! Such a great local business to support!

I took an engagement ring in to be sized. After it was sized, we had problems with losing stones. We started taking it back to them for regular checkups to make sure that the stones were secure. Every time we took it in for an examination and cleaning, a week later the ring would lose stones again. Finally, after 4 checkups and losing 3 different stones, we decided to take the ring to a well trusted jeweler from our hometown. They advised us that whoever had sized the ring cracked it while resizing which in itself compromised the setting of the ring causing the loss of stones. When bringing the stone in to be examined, the representative on the floor took it upon herself to examine the ring instead of giving it to the jeweler. When I gave concern about her poking at the stones and how this could possibly be loosening them, she was extremely rude and said it was the setting and not what she was doing. After the final stone fell out we took it to a different jeweler who confirmed that this poking and the cracked resizing that was causing the ring to lose diamonds.
Overall, the quality of work was poor, the staff was rude, and I would not recommend this as a place to have any of your jewelry to be adjusted or worked on.

Ordered a ring to be custom made. Was quoted $400 in labor, as it turns out labor was actually $1,000. How can you possibly be that far off? Should have had a quote in writing. No explanation whatsoever. Also had my watch battery changed by them. And now continue to get water in it every time I shower. This had never happened before, but they blamed it on something I had done. I'm sure they are a fine place to strictly buy jewelry from, but DO NOT take anything to be repaired or made.
