This was our first experience doing business with Sarasota Glass. We knew exactly which brand and model glass doors we wanted to purchase and have installed in our home. We contacted Sarasota Glass after speaking with other much larger companies. We were greeted with a courteous response to our inquiry. After a prompt and professional service visit to our home, we decided to hire Sarasota Glass.

We were required to put down a large deposit since these were expensive custom doors we were ordering. Many homeowners have experienced contractors delaying or disappearing after they’ve been paid a deposit – not this time. We were told an approximate date that the doors would arrive and they did, right on schedule.

What we did not expect was that we would be out of town for an extended period and not be able to be at home for the installation. We decided to put faith in Sarasota Glass to complete the job while we were away. We arranged to have the house sitter give them access to install the doors and the job was completed in a timely fashion.

Some time later, when we arrived back in town, we pulled into the driveway and found our home fitted with beautiful new doors. The quality look and feel of the doors was what we had expected. What we did not expect was for the work area, both inside and outside the home, to be so clean and tidy, void of any debris at all - especially since the door openings required custom work to accept the new doors.

One item that was missed along the way was that all the doors were supposed to be keyed alike – they were not. One call to Sarasota Glass to make them aware of the problem is all that was required. The locks were rekeyed promptly and all at no cost to us. Refreshing, to say the least. In closing, we were more than satisfied every step of the way. With service like we experienced, we will continue to support this local small business.

Great Experience from start to finish. Knowledgable people from front office to field installers. My need came up just before the hurricane. They came out to measure and quote 4 windows. Good quote and reasonable lead time considering they had to deal with the aftermath of the hurricane. The leadman was skilled, safety and quality conscious and worked his team efficiently. The front office was very good at scheduling and communicating with me. Handled all Permits and scheduled the final inspection.

Trying to get a quote from these guys is like pulling teeth. I had one appointment canceled at the last minute, next available appointment two weeks later. The guy, the owner I think, eventually arrived 45 minutes late, no apology. By the time Sarasota Glass came I had two other quotes for my hurricane windows and sliding door. The two other quotes were both wayyyyyyyy lower than Sarasota Glass. When I showed the guy he tried telling me how bad the other companies work is and you get what you pay for, point is the other companies both had better reviews than Sarasota Glass. The guy just laughed when I told him, apparently these other companies do reviews themselves to make them look good.

Had three bathrooms I needed glass for. They did the shower enclosure for the first two and they were satisfactory. When I ask the guy who came to measure the first two what it would cost for shower glass doors for a 5' tub. He said he knew right off the bat and was a little over $600. When I called at a later date to purchase it, they said they had to measure it so I had them come out again. The same guy comes to measure and it comes to $728. When I mentioned that he originally told me just over $600, he said he was practically giving it to me at cost. I said again that he told me something different and he got pissed and just through the paper on the counter and stormed out of the house. I called the office and talked to the owner and he said he'd look into it and call me back. Never got the call. It's obvious they couldn't care about my business so I'll go to Kaufman Glass for this and I'm currently building a home and will need 3 more showers done within the next 60 days but they've made it clear my business is unimportant.

Sarasota glass EXCEPTIONAL!!!.service is top notch. Scott (owner) came out on first visit to get information about new front entry door. Called to let us know he was coming first. Spent about 30-45 minutes discussing our new door options said it would not be a problem combining our options and that it would take no more than four weeks. From order to install it took only three weeks. While we had a door through a bigger company which we later cancelled and went with Sarasota Glass. Today we called Scott again to inquire one impact window which is on order. Again on time ,efficient and personable. Highly recommend Sarasota glass. Simply the best.

We had them install multiple glass tops on our furniture and then had them replace our front door as well as the window above it and the quality of work done was great. The staff is easy to work with and get a hold of.
