Over a 5 year period I have camped here a minimum of 6 months total. To the point that this year everybody knows me by name. I of course do not know them by name. I am a very respectful person treat others with dignity and respect. This year camped here now around 2 months. The people that man the entrance are two woman that are either there by themselves or there together. I dread having to go through that entrance to get my tags because every time something is said to me that is degrading, inconsiderate, or degrading. Last time I was made fun of by them together one woman saying something to the other about me and then busting up laughing. This park employed the lowest class of immature and hurtful people you can imagaine. After this year I am done coming here period!

Spacious and quiet even when full. Several spaces for tent or lg RV camping. A prior review indicated not many spaces for large RVs. I have a 39' Super C and fit fine in an outside back-in space with my 3/4 ton P/U truck in front or beside me. We saw several other sites that would have fit my RV and many large Class As were parked just fine in similar spaces. This campground had several spaces with a parallel long spots. The reservation map on-line was pretty detailed and I was able to select available sites to meet my RV length. Desert camping best in winter months. Plenty of activities: hiking, biking, & archery

I have hiked many mountains but this one is right in that sweet spot. A good 3 mile loop round trip, if you do Wind Cave. There are many other trails. I suggest, wait until you are familiar with Arizona hiking before you wander. It's down right easy to get lost or dehydrated. This is coming from a pro. If you have been to Alaska, I would say this is like hiking Flattop. 3500 ft elevation at the top and the views are amazing. The Wind Cave trail is not as strap a rise so it's a little better for newcomers.

I love Usery Park. Great place for running, hiking, and riding. Great place for a breakfast or lunch cookout. Beautiful desert scenery. The facilities are typically in good shape and the volunteer staff are no nonsense but friendly.

Great place. We tent camped with our dogs and was a really great time. Easy check in and check out, nicely maintained bathrooms and trails and we loved our campsite and the views, especially in the morning.

The spaces are spacious and private, the area is pristine yet completely in sync with nature! We were only there 2 nights on our way through the state, absolutely loved the campground and hope to return for a longer visit some day.

If you want to learn more about the Arizona desert, this is a hidden gem. Ranger "B" is knowledgeable and really gets excited about his topics!

Great place for a simple hike or nice bike rides on dirt trails. A great place to start teaching your kids how to mountain bike. Lots of good programs with park guides as well as fun little playgrounds for the young ones. A family favorite for my whole family. A place of great traditions for us.

I really enjoy the hike going all the way around the mountain. It is amazingly beautiful during the spring flower season. I do warn you though it is about 7.5 miles and isn't a hike to start the year off. I would do it only if your in shape. Nice area to pick-nick and hang out as well.

The campground at Usery Mountain is a County managed park that in most ways will favorably rival anything else out there. Spaces are widely spaced, all have power (15, 30, and 50 amp) and water. There is an RV dump and several VERY clean and neat shower house/restroom buildings. Campsites are large, well-groomed gravel with concrete/block picnic tables and both grill and firepits. Staff are exceptionally friendly. Here in mid-April and yes, it's getting hotter but mornings/eves are cool and refreshing. Lots of desert flora and a few critters we've seen so far. There are coyotes, nice to hear, but keep your pets inside! All this and town about 15 minutes away (should you need it, but you really can't see it). Prices at this time are very reasonable. For surecheck this place out!

Had such a fun time visiting, all the trails the camping, it's perfect to take a day hike. $6.00 per vehicle so pack them in. Find out more information at the visitor center and park Ranger office. Remember to pack out all your trash! Keep our Deserts beautiful!!

Great place to go camping at in AZ in the cooler months. Great hikes beautiful sunsets/ sunrises. Look up the events they have going at the nature center. My kids were able to see snakes, a hawk, and a falcon right up close.

Took a day hike with the family to Wind Cave and it was really neat. A nice hike, not too easy not too hard. Good out and back length with spectacular views throughout and a perfect spot to picnic at the top.

This is a great place to get outdoors in whatever manner suits you best. The trails range from easy to difficult, out and back and loops, short hikes, long hikes, great elevation gain and very little slope. You can bring horses, bikes, kids, and dogs - just pay attention to which trail allows what. I recommend using AllTrails to plan your visit if you haven't been before. And don't forget to pay your entry fee into the park. The price starts at $2 for walk-ins, $6 for a carload, and it goes up from there.
