One look at the US Bank Tower, and it immediately feels like GTA :-)
Back when the Skyspace was still included in the US Bank building, it was quite an amazing adventure, albeit quite pricey when you have a large group. The elevator ride up 70 floors was exciting all on its own. We recorded our own hit music, went down the terrifying 70th story slide, had purple flower cocktails, and took far too many selfies. The 360° view from up there is awe-inspiring. The helicopters were flying right by us and all the helipads were below us. I hope something like this will come back to replace the exceptionally fun venue we've lost.
I have my office here and it is great, very much in the centre of the city. Too bad that my "cargo" is usually quite far away. Also being able to store 20 cars is good but, i had to pay a additional $1 000 000 to store another 20! View is good tho. But sometimes the flying bikes, planes and helicopters shooting missiles at each other are a bit distracting. Oh and btw the security isnt great as my car got blown up once, after being outside for 0,003 seconds.
The US Bank Tower with its 73 floors is Los Angeles in the second tallest building in Los Angeles. The skyscraper is 310 meters high. It was built in 1987-1989 as the First Interstate World Center. As one of the few skyscrapers, it is designed to be earthquake-proof.
What used to be the tallest building in downtown Los Angeles is still most definitely the most recognizable building in our towns skyline. I've only ever been inside to go to the bank but I'm very curious to know if there is an observation floor that is open to the public. So if anyone knows from first hand experience if there is please reply to my review. Thanks. Also here are some of my better pictures of this place. Enjoy!
