Excelllent selection. Knowledgeable and passionate staff. I went in to get informed about fly fishing and all the employees took the time to discuss the sport with me. They hooked me up with a store made rig to get me started. I love local stores like this and they have won me as a loyal customer. I wouldn't go anywhere else after my experience here.

Very helpful and they have everything you need for spin or fly fishing. Not the cheapest but they need to live as well. Their knowledge of the Farmington river is second to none.

One of my favorite fly shops in the world. I always swing by before I fish the Farmington to pick up necessaries (and some not so necessaries). The guys are super nice and helpful, and the river report on their website is top notch.

Awesome advice and awesome service. Fished the Farmington a few times with no luck. Went in there today, got a few recommended flies and advice, and I was into a very nice brown trout an hour later. Highly recommend

Top notch fly fishing outfitter for the New England area. The staff are very informative, knowledgeable and helpful. They do not try to sell the most expensive items, instead they listen to the customer concerns and match their needs and wants. If you fly fish for trout and are within an hours drive, it is well worth the time to make the trip, there is always something a fly fisherperson "needs" here, even if it is just conversation with like minded folks.

Outstanding inventory and knowledgeable staff. All this on the banks of the Beautiful Farmington river.
Ask about the bed and breakfast too !
