Great weather to sit outside. Not crowded at 2pm. Servers very pleasant & friendly. I had blackened grouper basket, it was fantastic. Wife had steak sandwich & hush puppies. She enjoyed everything. They do have at least 4 cats that walk around the patio. So if you're allergic might want to go inside.

The service was fantastic. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was a dream. After we mentioned the mosquitos were bothering us they brought but spray to our table. That is going above and beyond customer service! My only coming is that the sign made it look like we needed to be at the restaurant next door, but apparantley we we rent the first to make this mistake. We will DEFINITELY be visiting again.

Not high end. Burger and grouper very good, great service. Cool place with great view. 5 tables in and maybe 6 outside. Recommended!

Good food. Great staff. These guys were very nice, helpful with questions. Food came out quick and was correct. The best part is the food tastes good. It's not an overpriced dump luring in tourists but a nice place to eat on vacation.

The food was great. I had the southwestern burger with hush puppies. I've eaten a lot of southern made hush puppies and these were the best I've ever had. Interesting view right next to the marina. With all the good places to eat on Hilton Head I would definitely recommend this.

We were looking for a place where we could be outside and enjoy a good meal and "up the creek" was perfect. We went around 6 pm and place was packed. They turned tables as quickly as possible without rushing their guests. Lou our waitress was fantastic as was the entire staff. Great meal fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the worst food EVER! Ordered a pretzel from Appetizer menu ($6.50) which was a $2.00 pretzel anywhere else at bestthe frozen box kind.
My wife's chicken sandwich ($10.99) was a frozen patty that chewed like leather. My blackened Grouper didn't fill half of the bun ($14.99)where's the fish.
I feel like I took $37 and tossed it in the river.
We went out of our way to go to Up The Creek because the Hilton Head Guest Services (HHGS) brochure recommended itshame on them. The paragraph in HHGS said Southern Living Magazine highly recommended Up the Creek.
This is my first time visiting Hilton Head IslandI learned a lessson with regards to HHGS' credibility.

Local joint that is quiet with fantastic views. More bar food, but don't look at the menu; just ask for recommendations, because they smoke their chicken wings and pork shoulder across the parking lot. Ask for Brian.

Great local place. Great southern (ish?) local food. Great service. Very friendly. Great view of the sound. We go every time we are in town. And solid t-shirt selection.
