Training with Master Lee helped shape me into the man I am today. While teaching self-defense he also fosters principles of courage, discipline, and integrity. I took the values taught to me by Master Lee with me when I joined the Marine Corps. He is amazing when handling his younger students. When I had my oldest start training at United Martial Arts he was only four years old. Now that we have moved and my oldest is now six he still wants to see Master Lee whenever we are back in Manassas. If you are considering joining a school, or to start your children in Tae kwon Do, then there is no better place or teacher then with Master Lee.

My son has attended United Martial Arts (UMA) since 2005, when he started as a Little Tiger. He has risen to a 2nd degree black belt under the expert tutelage of Master Lee and his outstanding staff.

Master Lee has an exceptional manner with children, providing the right amount of discipline with care that motivates his students to reach their goals. He has been an excellent role model for my son, and we consider the entire UMA staff close friends of the family.

Unlike the other reviews, I don't just send my kids to martial arts, I attend classes as well. I was looking for a way to lose weight (the doctor said I had 150 lbs to lose and I had better do SOMETHING!) and my son begged me to sign us both up for TaeKwonDo with Master Lee. At first I couldn't keep up with the classes. Master Lee helped me take it one class at a time and adjusted exercises to things I could do while still making progress. Now, a year later, I am 50 lbs lighter and I can keep up with the classes no problem. I have definition in my arms and legs I thought I'd never see again! Master Lee and his staff have helped me get past any initial awkwardness while altering the exercises in the beginning to accommodate someone as out of shape as I was. This studio, while FANTASTIC for kids, is also wonderful for adults wanting an after-work workout that incorporates more than just physical exercise, it also brings in a way of life. Master Lee and his instructors have really helped me become a better me. If you're interested in TaeKwonDo, come on in and take the free trial days and see for yourself. I did, and the change for the better is truly astounding.

I have been to UMA in Manassas many times. The classes are well run and the students enjoy learning. Master Lee and Master Fiona are great teachers and the students respect them and look forward to their time with them. My daughter has been attending classses for several months and her progression has been exceptional under the tutelage of these fine Master's. I would recommend this studio to one and all.

I have attended United Martial Arts for about five months almost six and I can say only good things about it. Master Lee is an amazing teacher along with Master Fiona. Both have helped me obtain my Purple belt and soon hopefully with their guidance I can become a Black Belt. They both make the classes fun and interesting while following the steps to obtain the knowledge of Tae Kwon Do. I and my family enjoy going to the studio and learning this culture. Both Masters are extremely friendly and willing to teach anyone who is interested. I love this studio and I hope more people will come and experience the wonderment of it just as I have and will continue to do! If there was a five star option I would click it!
