This theater is in need of some dire work. Everything is overpriced in terms of concessions and I would say tickets as well. If the theater was of nicer quality I wouldn't be as sore about prices. It's old and could benefit from some actual stadium seats. Movie selections and times aren't always the best but they're serviceable. It's okay if you just want to go somewhere close by with friends and hang out, and I think it's perfectly fine when the theater is near empty, but when it's crowded and you're shoved in the back with a bunch of heads in your vision, then not so much. Not to mention, the bathrooms are incredibly small and therefore dirty. Good luck trying to use it after walking out of a crowded showing. The main problem is just that you're better off driving a little bit further and going to Jacksonville or Gainesville for an overall better experience.

Small, but the popcorn is good, the seats are comfortable, and the service is friendly. Also the rates are a little better than Gainesville.

Staff is great but the building needs a lot of updates. Have had noisy and leaking ac bad seats. Besides that always a pleasant experience.

It's a good place to watch a show. The only drawback is the limited showtimes and variety. This is consequence of the size of Lake City though. If you don't want to drive to a larger city this is where it's at!

The carpet is really dirty. The staff are polite, and the parking is plentiful and close to the entrance. The parking lot is also walking distance to good food choices for before or after your movie watching experience!

If you're going to see a movie you'd be better off going to Gainesville or Jacksonville. This theatre isn't the best.. It's old and needs some remodeling. The staff are friendly but the movie selection isn't always the greatest. There's been rumor of a new cinema or IMAX theatre coming to Lake City but not sure when that will be. The prices on food and snacks are totally crazy, it's better to just sneak some in a backpack or purse. I don't recommend this theatre to anyone.

Went to see Pirates of the Caribbean and it was hot as hell in theatre. Couldn't take sitting there sweating anymore so during beginning of movie went and told manager and he said I'll see what I can do. NOTHING! If I want to burn up and watch a movie I'll throw 40 bucks at my dog put my tv in the sun and squirm for 2 hrs.

Its never too crowded but it is very pricey. But the memories with your kids can never be erased. So theres no price on that.

They are the ONLY theater in town for at least 40 miles in all directions, so they have a captive audience and the mindset that they can compete with mega-theaters at their price points.
Way OVERPRICED for Everything, Understaffed and in major need of renovations.
I drive to Gainesville and Jacksonville for entertainment.
Lake City has very little to offer for night life and what there is will leave a very bad taste in your mouth.
It's the "GATEWAY" to Florida
Keep on trucking, you won't be missing anything.

Great place to go with family's but the lines get really long and end up in the parking lot and people are having to drive through the crowd to get to a parking spot if I'm not mistaken I don't believe there's ramps for handicapped people either.
