Rented 2 rooms there for 4 days running from the hurricane. So glad we stopped there. The rooms were clean, great beds and the back deck overlooking the Suwannee River was lovely. Town lost electric and some stormy weather passed us too. Owners couldn't be more accommodating. Felt secure from storm and high enough so flooding was not an issue. Well built building. Internet was weak through block walls but all you had to do was step outside. We will be going on vacation there, and it is definitely our go to place when the next hurricane hits the FL Keys. And my large dog was welcome. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. You made the hurricane less stressful for my family

We hadn't planned to stay here, but our vehicle broke down half a mile from this hotel. A nice couple stopped and gave us a ride here. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. We could walk to everthing we needed for our stay for the night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thank you for the hospitality.

Description highly over rated this place. The cabins were in disrepair, the kitchen was not stocked with eating utensils or towels and the kitchen faucet was falling apart, the bathroom shower was falling apart and we could not get their free WiFi. The only part of the review that was right is it was right on the river. Steer clear unless they do some major remodeling.

Basically the guy at the front desk was super nice. Couldn't ask for a nicer person. Besides that this room was hot when we went in, we were looking forward to seeing the Suwanee river behind the hotel. It was a complete mess. It looked like it had been that way for a long time. I do not want to cause trouble for this motel just wanted them to know that paying $95 a night was absolutely ridiculous for what we seen. We had termites in our sink while I was brushing my teeth. There were termites in the shower!!! They were all over my car when we went to leave the next morning and the building beside our room was swarmed with termites!! it was awful. I feel like we should have been reimbursed at least half of our cost for this but I know it will not happen. Again this has nothing to do with the very nice man at the front desk. They really need to fix these problems. If I had read the reviews before hand I would have never stayed there.

The hotel cleaning service stole multiple hundreds of dollars between our groups rooms.
Management was hostile and confrontational when accused of said crimes.
Having my personal belongings rummaged through as well as my roommates money stolen is a complete violation of privacy.
Avoid this below average hotel and it's even worse management.response / report this review -

It was a huge disappointment for me. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly, but the room was very substandard. for $89 I got an uncomfortable king-size bed facing a half finished ceiling. Half of the lights didn't work, the tv wouldn't change channels and worse of all, no toilet paper. The last wouldn't be too bad except by the time you figure out that there is none left, or any back up, you are in a bad spot. The motel has a ton of potential but I felt a bit taken.
