Wish I could say good things about this place but nothing good has come out of my experiences here. Never been so disrespected or felt utterly embarrassed for a business in my entire life. Been to plenty of clubs in Chicago, NY, LA, and so on and never have I experienced such rude staff. Recently went with some colleagues around 1 AM and immediately regretted it. Security was shining flashlights in everyone's face while a janitor was mopping up some unfortunate drunk's vomit not too far from our table. We could smell it along with the sweat from people literally an inch away from our faces. We politely asked a waitress (who was chatting with a couple guys) if it was possible to move to a different table as to not have to endure the horrid puke smell, but she rolled her eyes as if we were an inconvenience to her, and continued to chat with those two guys. So we tried to ignore the smell and just enjoy the night, as the DJ was playing some good songs. Unfortunately, we had to deal with the smell of vomit for the majority of the nightand to top it off a server (wearing a high ponytail, Hispanic I believe) grabbed one of my colleagues, who was standing in front of the table she was serving at twice, by her shirt, calling my colleague an "effing b****" and to "move out of her effing way". We were taken aback by this and I noticed a bouncer (thin African American man, probably only polite one there) who was standing a few feet away had witnessed what just happened and looked embarrassed. He walked up to us as soon as this happened and apologized. He jokingly goes "Sorry about her. She's a nut." We all kind of laughed but it didnt eliminate any of the shock we were still enduring from what just happened, especially for my colleague, who was simply just trying to have a conversation with people at the next table over. If it weren't for that bouncer I would have walked out of there as soon as possible. To management reading this, you may want to consider re-training and teaching your staff how to respect your customers. And if they don't know what that is, then perhaps its time for new staff. This is unacceptable. People pay to have a good time not to deal with hostile staff.

Don't waste your time, money and nerves on going there. Check your bill before you pay it, trust me I know why I'm saying this! This place is just ridiculous!

Don't pick up here if you are a ride share. The bouncers are extremely rude and they don't respect you. They kept hitting my car on two different occasions. They also threw coins at my car. I called the location and it's been 3 days. They don't return my phone calls. I hope this place goes backrupt.

I had an incredible time!!! So, much fun! The crowd is what I was impressed with the most!!! If your a head turner!!! Love fashion and people this is the place to be!!! Not to mention the staff and atmosphere is incredible!!!❤️

I haven't been here for a few years. I'd give it 5 stars for music. 1 star for the horribly rude staff. I have NEVER experienced so many rude people working in one place. Screaming in our faces to move while waiting for friends to get a drink. A surly bartender who rolled her eyes when we asked for water. People constantly yelling and being rude. Killed the vibe of the whole place. Yes it's crowded. Yes I know they need to keep paths open for fire safety. So do all the other bars. Yet no one else anywhere is that uncivil. It was next level insolence. Have never experienced that anywhere in the world. These are the nastiest people on the planet. Abominable. And looking at all the other horrible reviews, I wonder, doesn't the manager get tired of giving lip service apologies that mean nothing? How about giving your staff lessons on courtesy and anger management and just plain human decency?? With all the racism and ugliness going on in the world, I don't need it when I'm going out to have fun. We left due to the abominable staff. Ruined everything. I know there's lots of ppl who will go in and spend money there cuz they're from out of town and the bar doesn't care as long as they are making money. But it's really no way to treat people. The staff were openly racist. Really. I think we could all use a little compassion in our current climate.

The Underground is a table-oriented night club with mediocre music. I generally avoid the place, but an Underground host offered my friend a birthday table including 1 comp bottle, 2 half price bottles, and no minimum purchase. (Too good to be true?)
The night started out fun, but soon into our celebration the floor host told us the minimum was $1,000 and we were required to continue ordering. I tried to explain the misunderstanding to the floor host and the manager, but both told me the original host who offered the table has no power to set prices. I couldn't get ahold of the original host, and I didn’t want this to ruin the party, so we tried to pay the server $1,000 hoping. She wouldn’t accept our money saying we had to order to the minimum before we could close our bill. (Gotta love the table game.) We asked how much we needed to spend to get up to the minimum. She said we had $418 on the tab, so we ordered a $650 bottle so we could close out.
After tax and tip, our bill was a whopping $1,400.86. But it gets worse. I found out later that the server didn't include two bottles bought by other guests at our table in the minimum. So with their $248 spent, the special birthday table offer ended up costing $1,648.86.
I complained to the original host who said he would help sort things out. After some back and forth, he said the manager would refund $200, but nothing was ever refunded. I followed up a few times until I stopped getting a response.

Not at all impressed with this club. My friends come here a lot and always tell me how they get scammed on bottle service because apparently the waitresses don't know how to count money. I decided to give it a try anyways and thought maybe it was just a one time occurenceit couldn't be THAT bad, right? So I came here with some girlfriends on a busy Saturday night and could not believe just how horrible the service was. Our waitress had an attitude with us from the start and made us feel very uncomfortable. And from what it looked like, she had an attitude with other waitresses as well? She then gave us one bottle when we specifically asked for 2 AND ended up charging us for 3 bottles!!! We spoke to a manager who corrected it but looked very embarrassed and didn't seem to want to go near, let alone say anything, to our waitress who did not apologize at all. Needless to say, she didn't get a very good tip. That was pretty much the last straw and the whole time this was happening, these two patrons at the table next to us were throwing drinks on each otherwhile security was doing nothing about it. The music sounded like every other club in the city and the atmosphere is so crowded, so be prepared to rub up against sweaty patrons non-stop. My tip? Don't spend your hard-earned money on poor service and a nasty atmosphere. There are FAR better places to be.

The doorman are tough initially but they let you in if you insist.
The place is good and the music also - but don't expect too much.
Nice people - but not some of the security guys. Specially one with red head and bear around the mouth - so unrespectful! He ruined all the experience.response / report this review -

Very swanky nightclub!! Great DJ spinning dance music. Drinks are, well they are!!! Opt for bottle service otherwise you can be empty awhile.

My 3 friends and I had an amazing time here celebrating our birthdays. We arrived around 10:30 pm and since it was early, the manager gave us a personal tour and gave us a round on the house. We loved it. Fun crowd!

Worst night club in Chicago! You couldn't pay me to buy bottle service in this place. The management as well as staff have extremely nasty attitudes!! The bouncers at the door are pathetic POS's.
Trust me, if you want to party and have a great time in Chicago, avoid this place at all costs. You'll be doing YOURSELF a favor.

I can't comment on the inside because I never made it in. However, during the 10-15min wait, at least 75 people or more went in while my friend and I (we're both black females) stood outside. We talked to one black guy who gave a "way" to get in, only to be fooled out of our place in the "non-VIP" line. So, needless to say the password didn't work. And the black guy said he did it to us because he saw we were looking at the VIP line as a way to get in quicker BS. What I noticed was only two blk people went in during this time and they knew the bouncer. Otherwise, Everyone entering was white. Even white guys were going in but my friend and I were told we couldn't go in because of capacity. Meanwhile, 75+ people had gone in. I gave up and pulled my friend away because at that point I had already given up too much of my integrity. By reviewing the comments, I'm glad I didn't waste more of my time waiting.
