Brian Gallagher is a passive aggressive "man" (I use the term loosely here) who gives the impression he lives to come in & belittle customers. I would guess many of the customers who frequent this business are not in a position to shop around & I would also guess Brian Gallagher has figured as much since he obviously isn't interested in "word of mouth" business or repeat business.
I'm fortunate that I was in this office only for boxes but witnessed his treatment of other customers.
U-Haul: I'm surprised you continue to let this "person" continue to
represent your company.

I would never recommend this place. 0 star! 2 thumbs down. By far this is the worst Uhaul service I have ever used by far in my life they are a rip-off! inconsiderate rude by far disrespectful overcharged me not only for the use of the U-Haul but for the use of movers that never showed up and my money is yet to be refunded to my account and they've pull out money from my account my account making it negative I requested a small truck I ended up with a 26-foot truck it would not even fit into my driveway at my condo to move out with my children want to go ahead and fix the situation he just laughed. I have cancer and two small children single mom.
.. One bad apple spreads and rots the entire tree
DO NOT USE THIS UHAUL PLACE YOU WILL ultimately get ripped off

I had a horrible experience with this U-Haul store. After ordering a trailer hitch and being given an install time, I left work early on a Friday to have it installed. When I arrived I was told by the owner Brian the closest part was over 2,000 miles away. We made another appointment for the following Saturday, more than a week later. I planned my day around the 11am appointment and showed up right on time. But again no part, and Brian said he wasn't expecting me! After canceling the order I discovered it takes U-Haul up to two weeks to issue a refund.

I highly recommend staying far away from U-Haul of Lake Forest. They have no concern for customer service and are completely incompetent.

Excellent service. Reasonable price. Your wait time may vary based on how busy they are. You have to park your car on street. There is hardly any parking inside.

Good experience with the customer service but the system might not be up to the mark. Had to do the check in twice, even though I did in online once. Second time it should be just verification and not the re entry of all the information again. Also had an issue of double charging, if I hadn't caught that and asked why? I may be ended up paying twice. Guy explained me that since my service time was late in afternoon , system counted it as two days and charged twice. be aware of your final billings and do not hesitate to ask, "U-Haul" please fix the billing system based on the timing calculation.

I just had the worst experience at this location, the people are rude, and the customer Service is very poor. When I showed up to pick up my U-Haul trailer it was raining and their yard was mud and deep water everywhere yet they would not let me in from the front sidewalk where it was just wet, they told me I had to come inside and the only way in was through deep water and mud unbelievable then they gave me a trailer full of trash and my moving blankets were not inside even though I asked them before I left if I had everything and the moving blankets I definitely will not recommend this location to anyone

I will never come back to this place again. We had been asked to provide a 2nd form of ID and it wasn't "sufficient enough" since the card was declined. It is a former of ID since my name is on it as well as my Drivers license is a former of ID. He asked me for my vehicle registration which I denied since it has sensitive security information on it. Since I wouldn't give him my registration, he yelled and cussed at as and said, "never come back". I have never been more insulted when trying to receive a service and only getting slandered by a twenty year old child. My mom has been going there for over 35 years and I have been going there for over 10 years. Nonetheless, we were there 3 weeks ago. I have never had so poor customer service in my life and I work in the customer service industry.
