If I could I would press NO STARS! I reserved a 5x8 cargo trailer from this location. I needed it because we were cleaning out my grandmothers home in Plano. They called me the day before to tell me that the trailer instead of being able to be picked up before 9am would now not be available till 10:15am. The day of pick up I called to verify that everything was ok and they said that they were still hoping that the trailer would be back at their location by 9:45am. When we arrived at the location at 10:15am there were no staff members in the office. My husband and I waiting around for 5 minutes and then he had to go outside and walk around to find a staff member. The staff told me that no they had no trailer for us. Why would such a huge company and location only stock one 5x8 trailer is beyond me but whatever. The staff member got on the phone with someone and then passed the phone to me to talk to this other person. The uhaul employee on the phone told me they had a trailer at another location if I didn't mind driving there. Since I was on a time crunch I chose to cancel the whole thing and opt to take my aunts advice which was to try to fit as much as I could into her trailer.
THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO OFFER ANOTHER SIZE TRAILER AT THIS LOCATION. IT WAS DRIVE TO THE OTHER LOCATION OR YOU GET NOTHING! I AM NOT FROM PLANO OR DALLAS! WE DROVE 4 HOURS WITH SET PLANS ON PICKING UP A SIMPLE TRAILER! THANK YOU N. CENTRAL EXPY LOCATION FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

I'm sorry that others have had bad experiences with this location, that was not my experience. They went out of their war to accommodate me and I couldn't be happier.

Had issues before with this location one time years ago but decided I'd give it another shot. I really shouldn't have done that! This time I had a reservation for a 1 day truck rental well in advance of a month, but since I didn't show up right at opening I got a call at 8am asking if I still wanted the truck. I called back just as instructed to confirm I did, yet they still gave my 1-day rental away and only offered an option to get one for a couple hours.

I rented a van from here to transport an item from a nearby store to my home. The process was mostly fine, except for the office staff. I felt they were less than friendly at the time. This was several years ago though, so perhaps it's better now. I hauled ass to get the van to the store, to my house, and back with gas back in it in time, and I only had to pay for the hour quoted.
