The restaurant is very clean and the decor and atmosphere are nice if you are there to have a drink at the bar and maybe an appetizer. This was our first (and last) time eating at The Tuscan Kitchen in Salem and we left very disappointed. Our server was not very helpful with understanding the menu selections being that is was our first time there, nor did he offer any suggestions about any house specialties. The kid serving the water and the bread was the nicest staff member out of at least a dozen others who just walked by and never asked us if we needed anything. But the place was busy so i guess there s no need to be nice to your guests. The food quality is less than mediocre and the prices are higher than The North End. The restaurant is on three floors and the bottom floor where the restrooms are smells worst than the subway. We will never eat there again.
I love it here. I Like to sit at the bar when Scotty's behind it. I used to love the lobster ravioli but they have gone down hill. All the other pasta, salad, meat dishes as well as the app's & desserts are delicious! Just don't order the fish.
Tuscan Kitchen is a very cool restaurant. We went for dinner on Valentine's day and had a great time! The food was awesome and the drinks were good as well! Desert is a must! Our waitress was very good and I never felt like I was waiting for anything. I would definitely go back again!
Ate here with wife and another couple after not being able to get a table at a new restaurant nearby. In the span of 10 minutes of leaving that nearby restaurant, we went to Tuscan Kitchen and were sat down at a very nice table and had water in our glasses right away. Our waitress Chelsea came over and was a PRO at everything she did. Food was amazing and so was dessert. Highly recommend this place!
Excellent food, great service. As always, my experience here was fantastic. I was here for my wife's birthday, and everything was fantastic. My food was cooked to perfection, my two sons (4 & 8) had great food. My wife's food was great my in-laws food was great. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's always been 100% worth it every time I've gone
Stay away from the lobster ravioli. My wife bit into her food and cracked her tooth on a fairly large lobster shell. That dinner bill is over $3000 in dental work and their big Insurance company is refusing to take care of it. You see I guess it’s my wife’s fault for chewing her food. Turns out they make the lobster ravioli by hand.
First time there and place was beautiful and sever was good. I was disappointed in the pizza. In my opinion it was a little lacking in flavor although the ideas of ingredients were great.
Very over priced. Mediocre service. Food served, while very good, was small portions.
Pricey menu, but well worth the spend. The food was extremely delicious. Gronk eats there, so yeah. You have a partial view of the kitchen/cooking areas which I always like and the atmosphere is amazing. They have big columns and arches to give it that Italian feel and the paintings add to it all.
Definitely one of the better Italian restaurants. You can clearly taste the difference in quality as far as the pasta goes. The salad was very fresh too. Very nice ambience and Tuscan-inspired elements throughout the campus. Great for more intimate gatherings including first dates. Although a little bit pricier compared to Olive Garden, you haven't lived yet until you've stopped by here.
This restaurant is arguably the best restaurant in Salem, and hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area. Everything here is top notch, authentic Italian atmosphere, great and varied food offerings, servers who know their stuff about wine and cocktails, even the deserts here are great. It is upscale, so your wallet will be hurting a bit coming here, but other than that, Tuscan Kitchen is as good as it gets for Italian food in Salem New Hampshire.
About as good as it gets for a dining experience in Salem, NH. Tuscan provides a solid meal throughout. Good wine selection, great homemade Tuscany inspired food, good service and a nice clean atmosphere. Upon repeat visits, the quality in the entrees occasionally slips a little here and there, but usually is a reliable place for a well prepared meal. The espresso coffees and delicious desserts round out a great meal.
We just celebrated our son's rehearsal dinner here in a private room. I just can't come up with anything other than to say how fabulous it was. Rebecca, private dining Manager, was very attentive to my desires. She helped me to make decisions to stay within my budget yet still have a lovely event. She was an excellent communicator via email and always replied promptly. The food was delicious and the guests are still raving about it, The servers were very attentive to our needs and friendly. We will highly recommend Tuscan Kitchen to our friends and family.
