Just purchased a 2022 Dodge Charger at Turnersville Dodge. Preston Beasley was easy too work with unlock Vann Dodge and Cherry Hill Jeep. I got a good price and financing. Very little pressure and accommodating. I’ll buy again from them. Nor do they talk down to you. Very nice people
Let me first preface and say I leased my Jeep Cherokee from here in 2019 and decided to buy out the lease since I had less than 30,000. I have been going here for service because this is where I purchased the vehicle. I have had a continual problem with a clicking/popping noise when I brake. Service has tried everything. At one point, I had a service rep, Christina, who was wonderful until recently.
After several attempts to fix the problem, I was told by Christina that it was just the way the Cherokee is made. This is absolutely the dumbest thing I have ever heard! First, what manufacturer in their right mind would make a vehicle with an annoying clicking/popping noise when you brake?! Secondly, this is 2022 . . . why would decide to tell me this 3 years AFTER I purchased the car?! I also asked them to look at the starter because sometimes it hesitates to start. Response: the mechanic tried it 3X and it was fine. Well, I didn't need a mechanic to start my car 3X; I could have done that myself. When I said everything I am writing here, all I got was a shoulder shrug like "oh well."
So I leave not knowing if my car won't start one day and with an annoying sound that is even more prominent and more often than when I last took it in to be fixed.
Next problem: Since I bought the lease out, I decided to get an extended warranty. On the day I picked up my "unfixed" car, I spoke to Finance Director Richard Catana. He gave me quotes and said he would look into my "problem" with the noise because he thought the excuse was also ridiculous. I told him that I couldn't speak with him that day because I don't live close to the dealership; however, I would call him back with all my information.
Well, I called Monday and waited 5 minutes as they paged him. No answer, so left a message. No return call. I called Tuesday, stayed on line for 15 minutes while they tried to find him. Receptionist said she gave him my message from Monday and give him another one. It is now Wednesday, and I still have not heard from the Finance Director. I even tried to talk to Christine again; however, she was now "too busy and didn't have time to talk to me."
So much for Customer Service AFTER you buy the car. It is appalling and unprofessional how things are run AFTER you purchase.
My sister-in-law purchased a vehicle from them last Saturday. When she wanted to take it home they said they needed to fix the door handle and detail the car. She didn't get the car back until Tuesday she needed to spend $113 on taxis while she was waiting on this vehicle and from the detail job they did it could not have taken them more than 30 or 40 minutes and they glued the door handle on I'm going to try to attach a picture. You know she was very compliant she didn't argue about the price she went along with everything and for them to do this to her is just exactly why a lot of car dealers get a bad name.
So hopefully she will get a survey in the mail and believe me they will not be happy with the response and furthermore if anyone has any suggestions who I can contact to register a complaint it would be greatly appreciated if you could share that information with me!
Purchase a vehicle from this dealer at your own risk!
Christina was amazing! And I absolutely enjoy coming here. I took my jeep to other dealers and had horrible experiences. This last time though, wow. I signed up online for an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation and check engine light diagnosis. I get a call from Christina, who was absolutely amazing, that I needed $2,000 in repairs on a jeep with 50,000 miles!! Oh, and the check engine light was on for a bad gas cap that cost $30. I was then advised the diagnostic fee would not be applied to my repairs! Come on now! Oh.. and that tire rotation, I have key locks for my wheels and no one called and asked where they are. Money isn’t the issue I don’t mind spending it to keep my car running, but take care of your customers, making me spend $170 for a $30 repair is outrageous, when I have to spend $2,000 to fix everything. Oh, and I have a 75,000 mile warranty I paid for. I guess it doesn’t cover anything, not even the oil change.
AMAZING experience! No pressure, no gimmicks, just high quality customer attentiveness! Matt helped us lock down our financing, Bill went above and beyond to explain warranties to us, and BRIAN was the BEST damn salesman I have ever encountered. Friendly, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor! From the moment we stepped foot on the lot until the moment we drove off in our new Dodge Durango - we loved everything about our experience at Turnersville.
