I looked on GOOGLE MAPS and found this Shop. I worked customer service for 30 years. Mr Fernando that works in the front office is the apitome of Customer Service. He walked me through the warranty process and spoke with the company on my behalf. He kept me informed through the week of the process of my truck. Dessert Transmission has gained my business for life.

Well a month ago I would have had a great review. But after coming in contact with the new owner Sal. He is shady and doesn't buy new parts for the vehicles. He goes to wrecking yards and pulls out the parts he needs from a wrecked car. That should be against some law. As he claims they are new parts. Don't believe him.
He is also doesn't hire anyone unless they are Hispanic. Which isn't right either .

My transmission went out 4 months ago, had Desert transmissions rebuild it and it just it went out again
I had a 6 month warranty and they are not willing to honor it. They offered "free labor but they would charge for the parts" which was over 2k on top of all the money I paid initially. Do not use this shop!response / report this review -

Update: 9/21/22
New management/owner has taken over. I explained to them the situation, they were extremely sorry for what happened and did everything they could to make it right. The shop could of easily ignore my request but they did the right thing. Thank you Saul for helping me with this, I have faith you’ll be able to turn the shop around. Best of luck!

*WARNING PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE*
So many things went wrong with their service it would be too much to write down. For the sake of your time and money please do not use them, it will end up costing you more in the long run.
I ended up having to retrieve my vehicle with a police officer and take it to another shop that fixed the issue within 3 days. Desert Transmission had my vehicle for 2 weeks.
They haven’t returned my keys or transmission. Currently working on my next steps legally.

This there any one out that can help this place has my car took my money and haven’t returned my car or money. And now they have disconnected the phone the place has been close for about 3 weeks. Claiming Covid but no one one has tried to reach out to me. .I have reach out to 3 on your side . Will any one please help with this situation.speak out about this business.
