I have heard about the turkey run in for years but this was the first time I visited. The service was wonderful and so was the buffet. I was there for a group Christmas celebration, the inn was very accommodating.

We stopped for lunch at the Inn. My wife had the Reuben Sliders and I had a traditional Hoosier Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. Both were very good, as were the soup/salad bar and desert. The setting, of course, is rustic. Unfortunately, they put in an indoor pool, which blocks the view of the park, except on one side of the dining room. We took a hike on Trail 11, a short, easy trail that starts just outside the Inn, for a better view. We have stayed here before, both at the main lodge and in the cabins, and enjoyed it very much, especially the seclusion/convenience of the Overlook Cabin.

I've been coming here for years and it never gets old. Awesome trails, fun nature center (especially for the kids). The lodge is a great gathering place at the end of the day too!

Attended an event at Turkey Run recently. Considering the people hosting the party paid for the use of the facility, the staff one lady in particular was rather rude. Telling them to hurry for food then they could continue. The hosts paid for the use of the facility not for a time restraint of what they do in that time frame. I love turkey run, they inn is a gorgeous building on the outside. But the beds are horrible and the staff is snappy.I wouldn't spend another night there unless absolutely necessary.

The inn is very comfortable, but the cabins are not well maintained. We were originally in a cabin and there was a significant amount of mold on the bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately, due to a mold allergy, we were unable to stay in that room. The staff was extremely helpful in getting us moved and helping to make accommodations for the health issue, which we were extremely grateful for.
Inside the inn, the only issue we had was water dripping from the vent in the ceiling. It was a very rainy weekend, so that may have been the issue. Slightly musty odor inside, but not at all inappropriate for the more rustic setting of a state park lodge. The access to Turkey Run is unbeatable and this is an outstanding state park to visit.

The location was great. Proximity to the trails was a major plus. The room was adequate, but nothing fancy. It served its purpose. The restaurant was decent; but again, nothing too exciting. $15.99 for the buffet was a bit much- especially for how small it was. I would definitely visit Turkey Run again, but probably as a camper next time. Also, they don't waive the $9 entrance fee to the park- even if you're staying at the inn. I thought that was a little bogus. Not a deal breaker, but just something to keep in mind.

Great cabins and excellent restaurant. The breakfast buffet is a must try. Beautiful lobby and good gift shop too. This Inn is in an ideal location, right next to the trails, one of which leads to one of the most spectacular walks in the Midwest. A canyon which is cool in the summer and awe inspiring. Right next to the Olympic-sized pool and nature center, where you can learn the geology and history of the area, and watch some birds at the feeder. There is also a pool connected to the inn. Prices are very reasonable too. We started out at the campground, but after the rain and wind blew our tent down, with more on the way, we decided to try the inn, and I'm very glad we did.

Relaxing large game room with free coffee, plenty puzzles, cards and other games. Dining room was pretty empty, possibly due to rain or middle of week. Food was inexpensive and you had plenty of choices.

First of all, the grounds are beautiful and are certainly worth coming to see them. The main lodge is nice and has the only WI-FI in the park (so none in the rooms). When I arrived, we were informed that our room's TV and phone didn't work and didn't received any type of compensation. A small 5% to 10% discount would have been enough. The cabin was nice all things considered and I stayed at the overlook cabin (one of the most expensive rooms available) and is worth it's price. Just wished it would have all worked.

My family and I have been coming here twice a year.. even when I was in the womb!

Turkey Run Inn is a magical place!! It's got a home-style, country feeling! Large enough for a wedding to be held, yet not too large to where it seems like another tacky resort trying too hard to be authentic! The inn has a great pool, a cute gift shop, wheelchair and handicapped accessible. They hah full service breakfast lunch and dinner. I really enjoy their buffet!

The pool is large and clean open year round. They have a neat game room downstairs with arcade, ping pong and many board games for families to play if it happens to rain.

Near all the great hiking trails, the river, an outdoor pool, basketball and tennis courts, horse back riding, playground.

Also, they have cabins, and amazing honey moon type cabins! Beautiful veranda for nice late night porch swings. My family comes back in two weeks and we can't wait!

The campground is just as great! And right next to the canoe trips!! Def worth a stop!!

I've been coming here since I was born and love visiting. The rooms are great you have a pick between staying in a cabin room or in the main Inn. The Inn rooms are more upscale, but the ability to open your front door right to the outside room make the cabins superior. Great restaurant in the Inn with great food served each meal. Great place to hike and have family time!

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Service was friendly and helpful. Lobby was very homey and overall a great place to relax with friends and family. There weren't too many options for food, because we are vegan, but we made sure to pack plenty of food ahead of time and kept it in the refrigerator that was in the room. The location is obviously super convienent being in the park itself. The park was beautiful and fun to explore. Would definitely return in the future and recommend others to as well.
