The kale guacamole was incredible. I have celiac disease and this place is a godsend. Everything was delish and very fresh.
Ok, I have to say I just adore this place. All True Food-s are a work of art (I love their menu), but this Phoenix location is especially perfect to me. I live in Tucson and travel up to it with my brother--just for this food, these people and this atmosphere.
The general manager is so kind and runs an amazing show (he even stopped by at our table last time to say hello). Every server I have had has been so polite, kind, hard-working and dedicated to making sure we're happy.
I have never driven nearly 2 hours for any other restaurant in my life, but for this one it is so worth it!
Thanks for all you do, guys, your hard work does not go unnoticed!
If you haven't tried this place, do! Food incredible. People even better.
I love this place! Love the farmers market crudites appetizer, loved the quinoa and noodle bowls, the grass-fed burger was delicious, and even the sweet potato hash was so good! Also, customer service is awesome and ambience/decor is so cute!
Lovely cafe with outstanding staff. The menu has a variety of delicious healthy foods, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and meat eaters. So everyone can find something!
We had the brunch, a garden scramble and the vegan 'chorizo' burrito. Both were delicious.
Good variety, excellent service and tasty food. I appreciate going here because the staff is very courteous and respectful. They do occasionally change their menu from time to time so you won't always see the exact same food. Their choice of juices and cocktails are nice and I love that their recipes are based off of a anti-inflammatory ideas. Highly recommended as everything I have eaten on their menu is amazing.
Very hip and modern. Kinda pricey, but so is everything in that area. Always good food
Delicious and healthy options for any dietary needs. The refreshers and teas are a tasty boost as well. Service is delightful and always friendly. Hooray!
Really yummy and healthy so you get the best of both worlds! I love everything that I have tried here. It is a little bit pricey for the portions and what it is but the fact that it is healthy makes the price is worth it for me! Nice atmosphere as well and the servers are always friendly!
Great meal enjoyed here, it was a busy weekend evening, but the service was great and the food was delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, served at the right temperatures and the quality of the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back!
It's sad that Phoenix has so few healthy spots with vegan items actually on the menu. I had high hopes for this place because it is one of the few restaurants that actually does.
I sat at the bar and sipped a $4 apple carrot ginger tonic which was tasty and sweet. I ordered the Brussels sprouts. Not long after a manager came by and said "I'm so sorry they over-cooked your Brussels sprouts so we are remaking them for you." I said no problem but then the sprouts came out maybe 45 seconds later. They were really, really bad. There was some kind of sweet paste/dressing in clumps throughout. The veggies themselves had burnt outer layers but also were ice cold on the inside. They were lacking flavor and just really, really bad. I find it strange that the manager came by to reassure me that my dish was receiving extra attention when it was SO bad even the second time.
The next thing I ordered was the vegan squash pizza. It came out really burnt on the edges (see picture) but with lots of the almond "cheese." The flavors were tasty enough but the portion is small for $13 it's only 4 small slices. And why burn it? Especially after the manager made a big deal about my "over-cooked" sprouts.
Overall this place is for people that want to pay extra money for poorly presented food that they will feel "healthy" about.
Fantastic dinner that worked out for everyone's different tastes. Spicy panang curry was about as good as we've had in Thailand Lots of heat without drowning out flavor. Staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and enthusiastic. Absolutely will be coming back as soon as possible!
We love this place. Great for clean eating! Great service, casual atmosphere. Staff is knowledgeable and makes great recommendations. Me and my spouse like everything on the menu, even the desert
This is a lovely place; warm and welcoming. There is the choice between eating at the bar, sitting outside, or the patio or dining-in. We typically head to the bar area and ask for the Happy Hour menu. The wine pours are generous & the people who work the bar area are very attentive and friendly. There is an array of Happy Hour choices--I enjoy their caprese salad where the chef chops everything into smaller bites. There are economically priced small pizza's that look delicious and I've also noticed that a lot of folks order the very healthy portion of calamari. I ordered off the regular menu a plentiful seafood salad that was loaded with calamari, crab etc. on a grilled romaine bed. There are very moderate pricing options and, also, some pricier dishes. I would recommend L'Amore as a welcoming neighborhood restaurant with attentive staff and an array of good food choices. There is sometimes musical entertainment in the evenings as well.
