Update to Previous Post RE: Gift Card Issue and Rude Service:

UPDATE:
Today I took a deep breath guarded up my loins (OT thing) and went back to the store. While waiting in cue the sales floor lead, George came up front and waited on me. George is a very kind man with whom I have spoken several times. Seeking George's help, he went to work to find me a gun from the wish list I worked up. He also went out of the way to tell the owner, the real owner, of the issue I had, and the owner placed an order of one of the guns on my list to work through the gift card - online ordering system issue. Both were very kinds, apologetic, and helpful. The gun is now ordered. Apparently, the man I mistook as the owner below is one of the business leads who works in the office; may be a better place, sorry.

George and the owner did everything possible to meet my needs and work to win back a customer, and indeed I believe they did. I still would not recommend anyone buying one of the Trop's gift cards. If you do know they only work (at the time of this writing) for in store items. Likewise, don't expect to be able to get a refund for the gift card funds.

Trop's should also ensure prospective gift card purchasers are informed of the non-refund and in store only restrictions for gift cards before they purchase. The information is printed on the gift card purchase receipt and card, but giving information about how you can and can't use the card after purchase is too late for the customer to make a knowing decision.

It's hit or miss with the staff. There seems to be a lot of turnover, and some staff are top notch - some speak poorly of the firearm you are purchasing to either sell up or sell what's on their hip. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchases, prices, and the time it takes to process the purchase.

Bought a lot of ammo, quite a few guns, some accessories, and also took some classes. Every visit was as pleasant and easy as the previous. Never mistreated, always waited on ASAP, staff is always respectful and courteous. There's always some kind of sale going on, so deals are easy to come by. Great place to buy from.

Cleanest, quietest, most polite and professional gun store ever. I've been to dozens of gun stores and ranges in NV, PA, VA, and WV. Trop Gun Shop is so far ahead of everyone else in customer service they aren't even in the same league. Clean & welcoming range, club, shops, bathrooms, training rooms. Membership + open case rental = best day ever. Knowledgeable and helpful staff will get you everything you want and more. Firearms, ammo crafting, silencers, and all kinds of fun.

the place is very good and safe, but the tall gentleman who sells the ammunition is an ill-mannered man, who seems to make him feel great shouting to people. It must be because I do not speak English well, that's what I felt, After that everything is perfect

My experience got worse every time I contacted them. So I had ordered a rifle from the store, paid with cash which left me with no tracking details. This was fine because they said it would get here in 7-10 business days. Well on business day 6 I called in for a status update and I gave them my last name and they said it was here. So I make the 45 minute drive over to the store to find out that the rifle I ordered isn't there and that the rifle they said they had was for somebody else with the same last name.
At this point I was frustrated but I can understand that mistakes happen. I had to really press the manager on duty to compensate the joy ride I just made. At this point I just want my rifle. But they said they will have somebody else contact me.

The next day I get a call from another manager and he explains that the supplier had run out and they had to cancel my order and place it with another supplier. I guess nobody planned on telling me this because it was now going to take 5-7 more business days from that time to get here. So almost 3 weeks from the time I order to the time I will hopefully receive it.
This isn't my first time buy a gun. It shouldn't be this difficult. I won't be ordering anything from these guys again.
On the bright side they have a nice retail store, very clean very professional.

Awesome! Store, indoor range and beautiful upstairs for events. The owner and all employees are so welcoming and outgoing. A must go to for any gun enthusiast, hunter and most especially law enforcement!!!!!

Very professional team, and a very organized shopping experience. Everyone was willing to help and offer advice. They have a great selection in the indoor range, and I made my purchase based off of what I tried there. Ignore the comments about people having to wait for the range. Lines are a thing, people. Plenty of parking and easy to get to.
