Normally I like a restaurant with a unique theme, but it's hard to call this place anything but average. The food was average, the drinks were weak, and the service was unorganaized. They're going to get plenty of food traffic being so close to the arena, so they're unlikely to change. If you feel like you must try it, go on a night when there's not an event.

Try their beer cheese! So good! They also have an excellent selection of bourbon and beer. They don't have a lot of vegan or vegetarian fare, but their cooks are accommodating and will thoughtfully modify upon request and with minimal hassle.

My friends and I were visiting Louisville and this spot was on our must-do list. When we stopped by on a Sunday night at 9pm we were rudely told that the bar was closed. This was strange because the local Urban Bourbon guidebook says they close at midnight and Google says they close at 2pm. If they closed early that's fine but they should lock the door and/or put up a sign. So disappointed with them, not just for closing early but for their rudeness.

Really great place to eat. Met with some co-workers over lunch. Their fried pickles were fantastic. The Philly Cheese steak sandwich was awesome.

This place way alright. The bartender did not seem to know much about drinks. I wanted a white Russian and she didn't know what that was. I'm guess she googled it in the back and said oh we have coffee but it's not very good. O asked for like 3 other drinks and they did not that the liquor and she thought Patron CO was a liqueur and not a regular liquor. I ended up just eating done fries with my fryers and leaving. It was a nice bar just not many options and uneducated bartenders.

Went here on a Sunday after a show at the Kentucky Center. They were busy so we expected a wait and that was fine. But then they messed up my order and I had to wait even longer and they didn't really do much other than say, "oops". When my food finally arrived, though, it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for its food, but maybe step up the customer service game a little.

Our server was excellent and I love the atmosphere but the food was mediocre at best. I had the southern comfort buger, asked for it med rare. It was well done, the cheese was dried up on top like it had been sitting under the light for a while and they forgot the onion straws on top of it, the bun was also too toasty almost hard. They ran out of basil and instead of telling us they just left it off of the pizza like you wouldn't notice that! Come on that is a main flavor on a pizza with tomato and BASIL! It wasn't late either. It was 7 on a Friday night and not that busy. I probably won't be back. I would like to, but for an $11 burger, I may not risk it. Good luck! Jen

The Louie's island (aka a long island with Jack) was delicious! Bartender was friendly and talkative. I would definitely come back to try their food or a fish bowl.

We sat in the bar area and ordered our drinks, I got the Bloody Mary and E got the Goodwood Brandy Barrel Honey Ale and the Frickles for an appetizer. Amazing! Then I got the Reuben Sandwichdelectable! E got the Classic Cheeseburger and he said it was "done right"!
Great ambiance, knowledgeable servers/bartenders, and fantastic food. Would come back I a heartbeat!

This place is so cool. The vibe and entrance are wicked sweet. The bathrooms are real neat too. The hand battered fish with the chips, whick where there troll fries, was incredible. Our server Jeff was amazing. It was our first time and he made great suggestions as to what was good and fresh and what wasn't. We will definitely be back to enjoy this wicked awesome atmosphere again.

I can't rate the food or service, because they were randomly closed for some reason. We planned our day trip to Louisville around going to this restaurant for lunch. I looked at the website several times before going. There was no mention of being closed for lunch. We met my husband there and there was a typed piece of paper saying "we'll be closed Tuesday, April 3, 2017" (???.it was actually Tues. 4/4/17). We were disappointed to say the least and had to walk several blocks to eat somewhere else. A simple message on their website would have saved us some time and aggravation. Perhaps we'll go back and I'll get to rate the food and service..if they're open.

The service was exceptional. I was in a group with 8 other people and they did their best to accomodate to our large group. The people here were really kind and appreciative of our time here. The food was well-cooked and perfect in any way desirable. The taste of our meals was pleasant but a few had strange aftertastes. I ordered the fish and chips, and I shall say that it was delectable yet the fish had a strange aftertaste. The service was fairly good, considering the large number of people in the vicinity. It was slightly crowded, and quite noisy, but the waitress was kind and was able to find our table with relative ease. The restrooms were clean and thematic, as well as perfectly polished and was overall a great bathroom.
Overall, my experience here was an low A-grade experience.
