The Trattoria Lombardi's Restaurant at 9203 Coastal Highway has good pizza. It also has a nice family atmosphere that is away from the boardwalk. Each time we have been there we can say that they have friendly staff, though not the fastest service in the world.

Amazing real deal Italian. Immediate seating, friendly staff. Owner even came to see how our pizza was. We had meatballs . tender and sauce was good on a fork! Pizza crust perfect.. so full and food happy. :0) PS. Even playing learning Italian in the bathrooms.

1st time here. Came on a Sat night with an infant. The servers kept banging plates around very loudly to the point that I thought they were doing it on purpose. The place was filled with smoke from the cooking. I'm still trying to air my jacket out. We ended up getting our pizza to go because of this. We saw reviews about how good the pizza is. If this is the best pizza in oc, then I'd hate to see the worst. The crust was really chewy. Not good.

Best pizza anywhere. I have been eating their pizza every year since 1963. The quality has never varied over the last 54 years. After all these years, the owners have become good friends. We travel hundreds of miles each year and consider it we'll worth it.

We get take out here at least once per vacation week. They are always quick and the orders 100% correct. We've had a number of different pasta dishes and they are all very good. Kids like their kids meals as well.

This is your typical Italian restaurant with the normal Italian dishes. During the summer it will be busy, but once you get inside and seated the wait for your food can be really short. Me and my wife both order Chicken Parmesan and it was on our table within 5 minutes. It was really good as well! Highly recommend!

Recommended by a friend. Pulled up the front and thought we would never have stopped here. My wife's been looking for good pizza down here for 3 years. Place was packed all kinds of good looking food. Will be back

Have been coming here every year for years and never had a meal like the one I just had. The chicken parmesan was chewy like a piece of gristle. I told the waitress about it and she apologized, but that was it. Paid full price for a less than stellar meal. We were one of the few in there. Prob will just stick to the pizza or go elsewhere.
Update:. Son wanted pizza so back we went. This place knows pizza and would definitely come back. Moving review from a 2 to a 3 because the waitress in the original review should have known to provide some level of discount. Also, the owner stopped by to ask how service was - nice touch.response / report this review -

We decided to try this place tonight. The apps were good. The service was good. The food on the other hand not so good. I ordered a chicken Alfredo dish tonight. Lol ok so called chicken Alfredo.
When my food came my chicken looked like a hockey puck. No really a hockey puck. When does chicken come in a circle. So I cut into the chicken only to find the chicken was frozen or fake. Not fresh at all. And the Alfredo sauce was just as bad. Think cream dry beef sauce from wawa. Lol
Pasta was not bad. But sent food back and dos not order anything else.
So would not recommend this place unless you want pizza. I'm still laughing at how bad it was.response / report this review -

Pizza is excellent. Pasta is outstanding. Appetizers are delicious. Dessert is great. Service is out of this world. What more could you ask for?

Great pizza! Crispy thin crust is hard to find and this place has it. The place definitely has some history so do go if you're looking for a new flashy place. Make sure you visit the restroom where you can learn some Italian.

Loved it. Best Alfredo sauce I've ever had. Our friends got the pizza and really enjoyed it. The decor is straight out of the 1970's. Awesome place.
