I came to tour the building yesterday and Deric the leasing manager took me and my family on the best property tour I have been on so far. He was thoughtful, knowledgable, caring, and overall great at his job. I applied for an apartment that he showed us later that same day. Any requests or questions I had, Deric was readily accessible and seems to care very much about the residents' happiness. Thank you so much, Deric!

I came across this property while looking to relocate to the downtown area. I came in contact with the leasing manager Deric and scheduled a time to look at the property. The outside of the property is nice and clean , but when you walk into the lobby it’s like you’ve stepped into another world, it is very aesthetically pleasing and smells great the staff is very welcoming. Deric was very informative as he showed me around the property to include the many amenities, including the salt water pool, and gym that is open and airy along with the rooftop. Deric said that he had not been at this community long but you would never know it. He was very informative and I felt very comfortable that the 2 bedroom options he showed would be a great fit for my family and I. Thank you again for a great experience and I look forward to working with you.

UPDATE: Have stayed here now several times since my first review. Staff and residents are all very friendly. Enjoyed the common areas now all open. The pool being my favorite hang out. Cooking on the grills and eating at tables on patio area outside pool. I may not be in position to leave NH and live here yet but so happy my Son does. Everything
you need is within walking distance, plus subway, train and bus stations close to take you to beaches or other desirable locations. There is a huge parking garage
under the building as well.
"ORIGINAL POST" got to tour of several floor plans of studios, 1, and 2 bedrooms at DTLA trademark. Thank you Mark for taking your lunch break to do this for me.Beautiful welcoming areas as you make your way to apts.I can definitely see myself living here. Very impressed with layouts and thought that went into storage/flow of apts etc, appliances were great.Living space was better in some than others but definitely something for everyone's liking. I like bigger living space and smaller bedrooms. I was unable to see some common areas due to covid but from windows could see pool area, an awesome grill area for tenants use. Thinking of moving from NH and this building is at the top of my list.response / report this review -

I've been here just under a year, and I really love it. I've lived in a few pre-war buildings before this one (radiator heat, no A/C, old appliances, noisy), so I decided to "upgrade" when I moved back to LA. While the apartment isn't 100% soundproof, they did an incredible job reducing noise inside the apartments. (I hear the occasional footsteps from upstairs, but otherwise would have no idea that I even had neighbors!)
The appliances and finishings were brand new when I moved in, and I was really impressed. So often rental companies cheap out and cut corners, but not here. The A/C is Nest-controlled, so I can sync it up with the rest of my Google devices. There are plenty of plugs (inc. some with USB). And I can't complain about having a full-sized washer and dryer in-unit! I'm in a studio, and they did a good job maximizing the space (good storage, considering the size, and even squeezed a mini-dishwasher in there!).
The building is incredibly pet-friendly -- having dog runs is invaluable as I don't really want to walk around DTLA in the middle of the night if the pup needs to "go".
The building amenities are also great. The pool/business center/gym area is really nice and well-maintained. It can get busy during the summer/on the weekends, but that's when those double-pane windows come in handy. The only real noise issue I've run into comes from events in Pershing Square, which would be an issue in any building in the neighborhood, but those have been rare thus far.
Finally, the staff is just wonderful. Every single person I've talked to or dealt with has been attentive and helpful and kind. I haven't had a ton of maintenance issues, but when they've occurred, someone is usually here within a few hours. I had an incident with a pet sitter, and Mark went above and beyond to help (as I was out of town). And Jodi in the leasing office was just a pleasure to work with. She made the process a breeze!response / report this review -

I’ve only lived here for about 7 months and LOVED every second of it. ALL of the staff are friendly and respectful. The apartments are beautiful and I never hear any noise from neighbors through the walls, the amenities are top tier quality. I definitely do not regret moving here! AND I applied and signed my lease without even looking at the apartment beforehand and they did not disappoint!
