Really nice winery. Liked it a lot. The tour guide was so soft spoken, nice guy and really knowledge but needs to be someone a little more peppy for louder or something. But wines were tasty. Ended up buying red flirt. Went on a cold January afternoon so didn't get to walk in the vineyard or eat grapes but still enjoyed it. Also another place where there were good live performers.
Best vineyard ever. They let us have the run of the property and encouraged us to eat the grapes off the vine! They offer a great military discount, free tastings, and a private tour. A magical experience. Of all the vineyards in Fredericksburg, this one is hands down the best!!
This place is beautiful! Not too crowded and the staff was very friendly. Plenty of wines to choose from for tasting.
Clearly not one of my favorite vineyards along 290. I tried their flight and the first 3 (2 whites and 1 red) would be forgettable if not for the stench that left their mark. I will say that they definitely tasted far better than they smelled, but I say that it was an enjoyable experience tasting them.
Our server however was extremely friendly and my group of 7 had an enjoyable time conversing with her while we tasted our flights. I did however like their port enough to buy a bottle to go. While it may be slightly too sweet for me to try as a nightcap, I can totally see myself using it as a port-reduction sauce over a nice juicy steak.
Wonderful people! We had a awesome time talking with Judy! The owners made it a point to stop and say hi and have a sincere conversation. The wines were phenomenal and felt like we were part of their family. By far the most enjoyable wine tasting and winery experience to date!!
