Very disappointing Christmas Eve brunch. First the positives, service was excellent and venue is beautiful. The food and price/value is terrible. Fixed price brunch ($42.00) menu options were few and offered very little in the way of healthy choices. French toast served with too much nutella - had to be scraped off. Chicken with waffles were left on the plate as chicken was charred and dry. All of us (6 in the party) had mixed roasted vegetables served on the side with entree. This side was cold on every plate. We selected lemon tart for dessert This was a hockey puck with no flavor. Not one of us could eat it - we picked out and ate the raspberry filling. We had been looking forward to this family gathering and were extremely disappointed with our experience.

I make it a point to eat here whenever I visit Boston. Yes, it is a somewhat pricey joint but the views make it worth it. The views are good both night and day, though I prefer the day ones as the water is then visible. The food is excellent, though the portions are small. It's an uppity joint so don't be surprised if the patrons are all well dressed, particularly at night. It's attached to a reasonably nice mall if shopping still tickles your fancy after you've paid the tab.

I wanted to commend the staff on a wonderful evening in the wake of what could have been a disaster. I planned a post-conference cocktail hour for several high-ranking executives in the insurance industry. I called 3 weeks previous to ensure that we had a proper space but did not understand that the lounge space was first-come-first-serve. Upon arrival, I became quite terrified as I realized there would not be space for my guests. However, Mike, Jonathon, Denise, and specifically Daniel (our server), were wonderful. They accommodated my quite-large party as quickly as possible even as my frayed nerves were beginning to show through. Five Star-Five Diamond service and accommodation. I could not speak more highly and my superiors (accustomed to such) were duly impressed as well. As I am a member of several Boston-based organizations in which we host conference execs, I plan to be back many more times (with the right pre-planning this time, of course!). Thank you for a wonderful evening and I plan on spreading the word!

Loved our brunch experience! The view, food and service were exceptional. Take the advice of the servers and pace yourself for brunch. It's a lot of food. We had the spinach salad and bacon-wrapped scallops, which were perfect. We will likely be back for dessert in their lounge later in our trip.

Great views. Love music. Good cocktail menu. Dress up. As I was waiting for my table i was talking to the staff, Ryan, Lynda they were awesome and Jonathan can't and talked to me to check if all was well. The staff cared to make my experience awesome.

We were visiting from Chicago. The wife and I dined there at a windowside table. We enjoyed the 5 course meals. It was an incredible experience. We were treated like royalty. I'd say it was on par with dining at the Hancock in downtown Chicago.

I would give a 0 star if I could. Worse restaurant experience of my life! I guess we should have know that it was to be an awful night when 3 different people continuously reminded us that the spending minimum was $24, BEFORE we even get a table. We thought that the waitress responsible for our table was rude, but turns out, she was just racist. Every time we needed something, we had to wait for when she would come check on the table behind us, to be able to ask her because she would never come to our table. And when she finally came, she yelled out " what?" every time we say something. To make the experience even more exciting, she messed up all 3 of our orders, then told us that she doesn't have control over what happens in the kitchen. So we enjoyed neither the service, nor the food.

Asked for 3, this lady took us to the table far from the entrance but told us it wasn't ready so she told us to go back to the entrance and wait again. She was very rude about it and the food there is not as spectacular as you think. Food is very salty in general, and just really average. We told them food was salty but they didn't do anything about it or did not even try to improve for better. They just seem really stingy about getting new food for us and really expect us to finish the horrible food.
The view is inconsistent depending on the weather so I would only go if the weather is good but the food is not even worth the price. Food is extremely average, only thing good is the view when theres a good weather.

    Hello,

I have been to this restaurant a handful of times now, and I am a Boston native. I have tried lots of 5 star restaurants, and I fully understand the way restaurants function. It is a wonderful restaurant, with a great atmosphere, however, every time I've gone there, the service has been much under my expectations. What I expect, from going to a restaurant like this, is elegance, polite staff members, and totally accommodating workers to make patrons have a perfect visit. Last night, on Saturday, June 3rd, it was a very special occasion for my party. We were celebrating, and we decided to attend the restaurant to finish off the day. Right away, upon entry, we were greeted by a rude, snappy host. When we asked "how are you today?" Rather than answering properly, She replied with a quick." did you make reservations?", and told us "it's a 24$ minimum." I took this as extremely impolite, and made me feel uncomfortable, and not welcomed. After that, we were brought to our table, by a woman who looked utterly miserable, and was giving dirty looks. I felt as though we were bothering her, as she was racing us to our table. My father has a major limp, and cannot walk fast. Although, she hesitated to wait, and seemed to be bothered by it. Our waiter Andrew, though, was fantastic, proper, and polite. Off all my times going there, he seemed to be the only normal, polite one. Soon after we eat, another incident occurred. Upon paying for the check, i told my father, me and my girlfriend were going to go take a special picture near the entrance for our special occasion. I wanted to show others, what I had done for my special day. I was greeted, by a bald, older man, that has an accent, who seemed to be a host, and he said " um what are you doing, can I help you?" I then said " I'm just taking a picture with my girlfriend, if that's alright". He quickly replied saying " no, it's not. This side is for reservations, goodbye". I asked him "sir, what's your name?" He then said " why what's your problem" I said " no problem, I've just never seen a worker speak to a patron this way" he said " beat it, keep walking buddy". This extremely offended me, and was so rude. I would not take the time to do this, if it hadn't have ruined my special night. I totally understand the rules, and I was happy to not take the picture, and go back to my seat. That being said, in no way, is it appropriate to talk to anyone like that, and me and my party were very offended. I'm sorry for the bother, but I couldn't keep this to myself. Thank you very much, id like to hear back, so please feel free to reply to this email whenever.

Great restaurant for special occasions. Pricy but worth it. Most impressed with our waiter who put us at ease by taking photos of our group. And he was a fantastic waiter. A team of servers placed each plate for our party of 10. Well timed and never rushed us. Food was very good and a glass of wine was reasonably priced. All this and the fantastic view.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Our waiter was absolutely amazing and made our dinner the best it could possibly be. I just ran the Boston Marathon and he truly went above and beyond our expectations! Food and service are unbeatable! If you are in town go if you have the chance, the view and the experience is definitely worth it!
