I have not ever been disappointed with the food here. Amicable staff. Well composed atmosphere. A must come to if you’re in Salem.

My girlfriend and I visited Salem a couple weeks ago and got a bite to eat at this restaurant. I’ve worked at a restaurant before and the way we’ve been attended as guests at Rockafella’s is unacceptable. After the host sat us at our table, it took about 30 minutes before my girlfriend had to walk up to the host and ask to get greeted by our server. When the server finally came we ordered our drinks AND food. Nobody came to check up on us if our food was okay or if we needed anything else. After we finished our food we waited once again over 30 minutes to see when our server would come. My girlfriend started getting irritated until she had to walk up again to the host (which happened to have been our server; the person who took our order and gave us the food) and asked for the check. She asked what table we were sitting and realized no one checked on us and said they were short staffed. Still no excuse for such terrible service. I would have rather waited 1 hour for a seat that would have given my girlfriend and I a welcoming vibe.

My friend and I were visiting Salem from Toronto Canada. We stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat and ended up staying much longer! Our server Nate was awesome, friendly and super accommodating. He made our experience one to remember. We had such a great time that we went back the next day! Thanks for your service Nate and for your suggestions of things to do in Salem. Thanks for the great drinks and good food!

Their fish tacos are amazing! I'm not very partial to seafood but I wanted to make an effort while in Salem on vacation. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Definitely will be back!

This is definitely a tourist restaurant. The food is decent, drinks are good, and the service is fine. My friend had to send her food back because it was cold. My grilled cheese wasn't fully melted. Although it was good and I did not hate the experience I'm sure there are better less touristy restaurants. I would skip this place next time for more of a local spot. Don't bother.

I usually come here during the fall when thst have my favorite drink, "Satan's Cider". However, whenever I do go, I order their calamari which is always crispy a d good, with fried jalapenos, and we also order their burgers which are good as well. We ordered their Snickers martini with had that good sweet and strong balance, which we needed. They also allowed our dog to sit with us and give him water when we visit and sit on the patio. When we ran inside for a drink or two, they brought water out to our dog, which was very kind.

Although it might look very fancy from the outside, the interior is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly. They've just got a new chef, and the food we ordered was really good - overloaded nachos and truly excellent fried scallops. Good assortment of local craft beers on draft too.

I have gone there many times, always had good service. Recently, they have hired a new chef. They are implementing organic meats and so fourth. I very rarely order a burger in a restaurant, but trying the new burgers, I'm hooked. Been there 3 times in a month's time and only ordered the burger. I'm also a nachos fan and they are consistent. Have to try the burger at least once. Very good service.

This place is the real deal!! We had Sarah as our waitress and she was the BEST server I've had EVERR!! She was super friendly and adorable 😊 It was my first time with a group of friends visiting Salem & The Rocafeller was recommended by our hotel. We're so glad we went there because no other place we hit up in Salem compared to this establishment. Sarah was so helpful and had a great upbeat persona. The food was simply wonderful and delicious & the atmosphere was lovely. It was a really terrific experience. We wished we had spent all our meals there because they know what customer service is all about :) the managers were also incredibly friendly and it seemed to be a great place to work! You've gotta go to this place!!

It was mid afternoon and quiet during our visit. We were seated quickly and were doted on by our waiter. The food was delicious and was enjoyed as we watched the people walking by the large windows from our cozy booth. After our meal we were given a small tour and an historical background, which includes a bank and a church. A fun, friendly place to visit.
