This was my first visit to Tom Ham's Lighthouse. We had an office Christmas get-together in the bar area with 20 people. The views across the harbor of downtown San Diego were gorgeous! We had small bites off the Happy Hour menu. Everything was delicious. The wait staff were prompt and helpful, and courteous. Full bar, wine, non-alcoholic beverages. We really enjoyed it.
Plenty of free parking. Enjoyed our Holiday Luncheon in the California Room. Weather was great, so view from indoors and outdoors were wonderful! Buffet lunch was excellentCaesar salad, beef brisket, chicken, salmon, roasted vegetables, rolls, iced tea, coffee, no hot bar. Serving staff was very accommodating.
Sunday brunch buffet. The best in San Diego. All you can eat lobster claws, king crabs, oysters, scallops, rib roast, etc. and champagne.
Great food and happy hour specials. Amazing views! The oysters were fresh and great variety. Definite night out spot.
San Diego staple. Great view, great service. Food was quite good but right on the border of where value/price meet with some dishes toeing that line more than others. Definitely worth a visit.
We just had our wedding at Tom Ham's. It was beyond amazing. The venue, staff, and food exceeded our expectations. I did not have a wedding planner and did it all on my own but if it wasn't for Perla and Brook this whole process wouldn't have been as smooth. They went above and beyond to make our day a special one. They were professional, knowledgeable and great communicators. I honestly couldn't have dreamed for a better wedding. Thank you everyone at Tom Ham's!!
Great views food and service. The Best place for Restaurant Week. No hassle parking for free. Rental room for party was gorgeous festive and catering was hot tasty and reminded me of my family.
We were invited to a surprise party here and had a wonderful time. Our lobster rolls were delicious (although they are not Maine-style lobster rolls - according to my hubby from Maine). The setting is beautiful and the views on the harbor and bay are spectacular. Service was excellent.
Came down to SD from SF for Fri., Sat.,Sun., Giants and Padres series. Subjected to "Torture". The one shining light was having a light dinner of small plates at "Tom Hams Lighthouse". Had a chopped Caesars salad and a different way of eating chicken wings. Must have their chicken lollipops. Ate in the bar where the bar tenderess, Stacy, took good care of me! Three great margaritas!
This place is amazing. The view can't be beat and it is tucked in behind some marinas in a very quiet area. The food is pricey, but good. The fish and chips were super generous portions and 3 of us shared 2 servings. My husband had the lobster po' boy and it looked really good.
Great view! We only did happy hour so I can't speak to their dinner. But we liked the oysters. We had lobster bisque which was OK but pretty salty. The service was great!
Food was great. Server was excellent and in a beautiful location. Only thing is there was a wedding reception going on and the music was rather loud downstairs. Not much can really be done except maybe sound proof the top floor better. Would definitely come back though.
We had a funeral at Fort Rosecrans National cemetery and had a luncheon for the attendees. 16 people in a private room. I can not say enough for the quality of service, food and a very very reasonable price. The staff at Tom Ham went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Luz and her crew did an outstanding job.
Unforgettable venue for both wedding and reception. Breathtaking view of San Diego Harbor and skyline makes for a lovely backdrop for wedding photos. The staff is so helpful, especially Brooke, who helped us coordinate the events of our wedding. Proud to say that Tom Ham's is LGBT-friendly, and my wife and I could not be happier with choosing this location for our special day. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Full bar. Parking is free, and the lot is fairly large. A beautiful place to enjoy a meal in San Diego for both tourists and locals alike.
