Bought tires there for about 10 years and wouldn't change - ever. Friendly guys even if they are direct and informal, quick - VERY quick service and never a question if you're only there to get some air in your tires. Honest, friendly, efficient.
Good prices and good service has been a key to this location over the many years I have come here for tires. Was just here to have tires replaced on my mother's car and they didn't try to up-sell when it isn't needed - all we needed was a basic tire to replace the dry-rotted ones that were several years old as they only get driven about 1000 miles a year. Only oddity was the quoted price in store and the estimated price for that tire at that location on-line was quite a bit different. Have not seen the details of the bill to determine what was extra (disposal??).
I have purchased tires here in the past. However, I just bought a new to me vehicle and had a light alerting me to a tire pressure issue. I went to this Tire Barn and, even though I didn't get my tires here, they were quick to check and put air in each tire. Well done, guys!
Had an emergency flat tire. These guys were so great and got me on my way in no time! Great, friendly service!!!!
went to get a quote. walked out 30 minutes later with 4 new tires. quickest service ever.
They put wrong tires on and wouldn't swap them and on another trip yelled at me cause they didn't reset my tire sensors. Worst customer service ever. Will go to the one over by coliseum Blvd next time.
This is the ONLY tire shop that we use. They have always been reasonable as far as pricing and they have gone out of their way to work me in whenever I have been there with a tire "emergency." The service is fast and friendly and we are very happy with them.
This Tire Barn is a joke! I don't think I have ever had a worse experience dealing with a place of business. Dishonest, unorganized, and extremely unpleasant. They lure you in with the lowest price tires and rip you off with a more expensive tire. It's the classic bait and switch. I do my research before I buy anything, always looking for the best deal. All I needed was one tire replaced. I found on their website the economy tire for $41.99. After disposal, mounting and taxes the out the door price is $59.99. Sounds good, I'm ok with that, so I pick up the phone and call the Tire Barn on Jefferson Rd to schedule an appointment. The employee answers and I tell him what I want. The employee tells me that unfortunately they are out of stock but he can give me the next tire up on the quality scale for the same price out the door. I tell him that sounds good and ask to schedule an appointment. He tells me that no appointment is necessary and to just bring it in. I'm thinking to myself, I'm still getting the best deal I can find so don't bother looking any more. Here's where I went wrong, I didn't get the employees name who told me said they could give me the same deal on a different tire. Fast forward to the next day. I drive in to the Tire Barn and walk inside. I explain my position with the guy at the front desk. He is a quiet, unfriendly guy who agrees to the deal. He asks me which tire on my car needs replaced and I tell him it's the one in the trunk. It needs to replace the spare on my front driver side. I give him the key and a half hour later he tells me I'm good to go. I go to the counter and he gives me my total $84. $84? I was expecting $59.99. So I express my concern with the guy who is putting forth barely enough effort to open his mouth and speak to me. He clearly doesn't want to be here today and argues his point that he has worked here 2 1/2 years and they have never had the tire I asked for. (remember, he agreed to the deal 30 min earlier) I told him I didn't care how long he had worked here and explained the conversation I had yesterday with one of his fellow employees. He asked me for his name and I could answer. I didn't get the name. I didn't think to ask. After much arguing I pull up his company website and show him the tire that I called about the day before. We continued to argue until he said the best he could do was $60. I said deal I mean now we were only a penny away from what was expected. So I pay the man and leave. At this point I leave and I'm worked up, so I don't even bother to look at the work that has been done and I get in my car and leave. I run to the store, run inside, make a purchase and return to my car. When I get back to my car I realize that the spare tire is STILL on the front driver side of the vehicle! I then open the trunk and see my flat tire was not repaired. I take another look at the spare and realize that they replaced the perfectly good spare tire I had with a brand new tire. Now I'm really livid and get back in my car to drive back in to the Tire Barn. The same employee greets me at the desk by staring at me with the "what are you doing in my store eyes" and unpleasantly asks me what's up?. I then have the pleasure of letting him know that they messed up. As he pulls his old paperwork out of the trash to show me that he wrote everything down correctly. He again begins to argue with me saying that he wrote it on the paper for his guys to change the tire in the trunk of the car. I then had the opportunity to wait an additional 45 min in their store.
As a Tire Barn employee we always strive to be the best every day by delivering quick professional service and have the lowest prices.
Went in looking for 2 new tires for my car. Salesman tried to get me to put 4 new tires onwhich is fine thats his job. I said I just need the front tires and he told me "it would be smart to put all four on before something breaks". I asked what would break? He said possibly the transmission . Which makes absolute no sense because its a different system, I left without buying anything.
Don't make an appointment, you'll only be mad at yourself for wasting your time on that as well.
Genuinely terrible experience. I made an appointment, got a confirmation email, showed up for the appointment the next day and they had no record of it. Ended up waiting for over two hours just for service to begin, plus another hour and a half for the service itself. Spent $450 on new tires, which are fine. They're hunks of rubber. Who cares? After the service was finished, the guy offered the free alignment check, but didn't have time that day (shocker - full waiting room and maybe two people working). So I scheduled an appointment for 9am the following Saturday. Get there at about 8:40, check in, expect to wait a little while. 9:30 rolls around and a car gets taken in that arrived after I did. With an appointment. That they set. Less than a week earlier. So I told them I wanted my keys back, and left.
Absolutely will not be going back, ever. If I had known the awful experience they offer, I would never have even considered it. I strongly encourage everyone to look elsewhere. The prices aren't any better than what you'll find anywhere else and you might actually get some customer service.
Even if you do save a few dollars, it is absolutely not worth the headache and frustration of dealing with folks who either can't keep up with a conversation, or just don't care about doing a good job.
I normally wouldn't make an accusation like this, but I'm convinced the positive reviews are employees. There's no way someone would enjoy it here, since someone that messed up would already be in prison.
Randy was very helpful, and offers discounts when asked. I will definitely recommend using them to others. I purchased two tires to replace one that was damaged and figured to just do both fronts since the other front only had about 30% life. I would give 5 stars but they put weights on the outside of my decent rims. A look at the back and they would see you don't put weights on the outside.
Friendly and honest. I've been going here for years and always had good experiences and professional service. Recently we got a new, used car, and without thinking, we assumed the tires hadn't been replaced. We brought it in completely ready to buy new tires, and the guys here were honest enough to tell us the ones we already had would be good for at least another year. And they didn't even make us feel stupid, which we would have deserved. They stayed courteous and professional. You've just earned a customer for life.
