The Tip A Few bar and resturant, serves Mexican food, it s not a Mexican resturant. Its a neighbour hood bar, in my opinion the best bar in Grand Haven. The Tip is down to earth with a homey type atmosphere, It's the kind of place when as a teenager, you would attempt to get served beer before it's was legal for you to drink. The bar serves beer some craft types, wine and mixed drinks. There isn't any of those high fashion highballs, that is the rage with the nose in the air drinkers. Inside is decorated in the theme of The Dead, Harley Davidson, Veteran memerobila and Red Wings, Tigers. Its very family friendly the staff will not allows potty mouths while children are present.

Top notch service, cold beer and good enchiladas. I don't need much more.

Don't go for dinner. Great for drinks. Food is flavorless and disappointing. Salsa was basically Pace right out of the can. There was a 45 minute wait but it was not worth waiting for.

Delicious potato skins. Like Nachos only better. Ask them to add diced tomatoes and guacamole.

Love this place. I live in Muskegon and go to Tip anytime I have family members in town to enjoy one of the best burritos around. Always quick service, the good is hot and delicious.

This is a dive bar. Cheap, strong drinks. A local told us this is the place to go for your money's worth. He was right. There's nothing fancy about this place, it's full of locals and serves what you'd expect as far as dive bar food goes. We only had drinks, service was fast and friendly. I'd go here again if we're just looking to have some drinks with friends.

Sommer is awesome. We love to stop at TipAFew every time we come to Grand Haven. The Wet Burrito is excellent every time. Thank you Sommer and Tip A Few gang. 😀

Lots of televisions turn this local established dive bar known for its "Mexican"-bar faire into a downtown sports bar.

This is a favorite spot for us in Grand Haven and normally would give it 5 stars but our last visit on New Year's Eve day found the normally ice cold beer only moderately chilled. Discovered the bartender was trying to make his own job easier by leaving all the cooler doors open instead of sliding them open when he needed a beer. Even after another employee closed all the doors he came back and opened them again. As someone who tended bar for many years this seemed like the height of laziness.

It's okay. Nice atmosphere but the drinks aren't great. If you get drunk enough you won't notice.

Strong and less expensive drinks than all the other downtown restaurants. No outdoors seating. Great burrito and American style Mexican food. Did I mention the strong drinks. Nice staff and bartenders. Be prepared to wait on a Friday or Saturday evening to be seated. Good things come to those who wait!
