Every time you try and call in ( Grand Haven ) THE ONLY call center is in Lansingyou wait for ever and ever for a person to answer.I am on my 3rd try to talk to a person. You are not able to call your "local" credit union you are. Put into a call center and listen to their music for ever!!!

Have always found the Lake Trust staff at the GH Robbins Rd. branch to be helpful, pleasant and courteous. They also operate from a beautiful building. Great place to introduce a teen to the world of banking and saving, CD's etc. We have been very satisfied.

l started banking with Lake Trust Credit Union when the company opened a new branch in my hometown. At first I was fairly impressed by their operation. All the tellers and staff were friendly, courteous and managed to remember my name. If ever I had to call into customer service the people were always very helpful. At the time I opened a line of credit which I had for the entirety of the relationship. As the relationship developed I came into a substantial sum of money. Unfortunately this is where I started to see a lack of interest in my business. Putting it mildly the branch manager was a bitch in heels and a royal pain in the ass. I always was told that at a credit union you were treated like a member and not just a number. Based on the experience that I had with Lake Trust I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Perhaps at J. P. Morgan I will find a more suitable to fit my needs. If you are considering this company for your banking needs, I would suggest doing your research first prior to making any decisions. I signed for a loan, still have not received payment coupon book (their failure.) When on the phone to resolve issue they said I would be responsible to find other method to pay or pay fees. They are loyal to written protocol and policies, not their customer base.
