Food was amazing! It came out hot and exactly like we ordered. They had great options for vegans. The tofu was nicely seasoned. Our server could’ve been a bit more attentive. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Best grits ever! And best breakfast in Atlanta. The homemade wheat biscuits are great with the homemade jams.

I called to place a to-go order and first they picked up the phone and sat it down without saying anything. I waited a couple of minutes and called again. When I called back to place my order I was told the restaurant was closed. It was 2:56 and they closed at 3:30 according to the schedule. The lady said they closed at 2:30 because, "they ran out of products." I'm sure they didn't run out of everything and she didn't know what I was going to order to decline my service. Also, the lay time I placed an order and it was completely wrong. It was partly my fault because I didn't check my order before I left the restaurant to ensure it was correct. Nevertheless I wouldn't have sent it back because I don't like to send food back to the kitchen if I plan on still eating there. Thumbs down 👎🏾 I don't care to patronize them again, which is unfortunate because they are a local eatery.

Food was great and customer service was phenomenal. The only downside was the parking. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a breakfast spot. Thumbs up gets a thumbs up from me.

Normally I don't write about a place unless I've eaten there a few times, but I've only heard good things about this place from the people that recommended it, and I was not disappointed. I had a turkey club and a salad, turkey was a little dry that was the only complaint I had about that sandwich. The salad was made with spinach which I liked, the dressing options are a bit sparse but it wasn't that big a deal. They had Ranch, Honey Mustard, Balsamic Vinaigrette, and I forgot what the fourth was. The portions were more than adequate, still stuffed as I type this. The service was great and the people were friendly. The atmosphere was jovial and the dining area was bright and comfortable.

This place is great! There was a 20 minute wait for a table, but it was well worth it. Service was great, the staff was friendly and attentive. Plenty of staff for such a small place. The portions are huge and the food was served hot and delicious. We will definitely go back when we are in town. Definitely a gem!

Real cool place, brick walls and booth seating . Service was quick and generous in size. Bathrooms were clean, which says much about the place. Prices were a little high for breakfast but a liked the vibe and would return.

Wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I were looking for a great breakfast/brunch spot in the area, and were excited to learn that there was a Thumbs Up Diner nearby! They definitely lived up to our expectations created by the downtown locationthe food looked and tasted delicious, the environment was clean and roomy, and the service was fast! Plus, as my guy is a vegan, their tofu scramble was a perfect option for him. Just be prepared for their usual cash-only policy and allow a few minutes to circle around for a parking spot.

I've been a fan of thumbs up since it's beginning! Please, please all of you stop to wash your hands Please! Food handlers wiping faces touching everything no wash of hands not even a sink in front to wash hands.

Service was ok, nothing great. The biscuit was way too dense, my coworker could hardly eat it and broke me off a piece so I could see. No wheat biscuits for me, thanks. My bacon, 2 eggs, and grits came out quick but the bacon was just twisted, lukewarm, and super overcooked it was very hard to bite into the tangled little bits (not strips like it suggested on the menu). The 2 scrambled eggs looked more like 4-5 and covered the entire plate, I had to poke around the edges to find pieces that weren't terribly runny/wet which I'm not a fan of soggy scrambled eggs. Grits, I guess were the best part of my meal but not very enjoyable with the rest of the food sucking. I wish we had gone to a waffle house instead. No return visit for either of us, Thumbs down.
