I mean.. this place was definitely old school steak House. Simple and polite. The prices were good and the food was really really good. Killer pork chops.
It was absolutely amazing. Our server Dion was excellent. My daughter and I had steak- it was cooked and seasoned perfectly and it was delicious. My younger daughter had chicken fingers and the breading was yummy. My husband ordered the seafood jambalaya and it was delicious as well. Highly recommended this restaurant.
The calamari was a good appetizer. My hubbie had the pork chops which he gives 5 plus stars! I had the stuffed shrimp. The veggies and rice were delicious. The shrimp were overcooked and the crab meat stuffing was all stuffing and no crabso sad.
The Marinated Salmon was delicious! I enjoyed it better than the T-bone I had on a previous visit. The garlic mashed potatoes were good as well. My dinner companion had grilled pork chops and I plan to try that on my next visit. They really looked juicy. I cannot comment on desserts as I am always too full to try them. They really look really tasty though!
Alright, so I visited about 2 months ago and I've been meaning to write a review but I keep forgetting. I had one of the best steaks of my life here. If I remember correctly, I got the Bourbon Prime Sirloin. I ordered medium rare, and it was perfectly cooked. I'm definitely going back next time I'm in the area!
Every time I am in Atlanta I come to Malone’s. The staff is awesome and love the food. I am in Atlanta at least once a month and I have never had a bad experience here. Anyone in the are should try them out you won’t be disappointed.
The food could be better. My steak was very close to a jerky and had no flavor. It didn't help that there were 2 flies bothering me Good ambience, the waitress was good.
The service was excellent and the food was great. Everything from drinks to our meals and dessert. Our steaks were all cooked just as requested and came out quickly. All the employees were happy and very friendly. My only complaint is that it was a little cool upstairs.
My family and I visited for the first time Sunday. Our server Stephanie welcomed us as friends instead of just customers. She recommended giving the pork chops a try and she was right it's every bit worth the price. She was very attentive and was such an uplifting person. Overall great experience, I highly recommend this place! We will be returning soon!
Overall nice employees, seated quickly. Then it went south. Order was taken after another table was seated next to us which was irritating. No drink order taken. When our food came after a lengthy wait our drinks decided to show up to the table behind us. Veggies under cooked, rice was good but the shrimp made both of us ill later in the day. Waited for the check but could not get anyone's attention until we had to get the hostess to find our waitress.
I've ate here before and it seems to be a common issue as far as the poor service. Food has been better than the last time as well but will steer clear for a while.
Service is usually pretty good and the food is as well. The French onion is good, a little salty for my taste but good none the less. The salad that comes with the soup and salad has raisins and walnuts in it, along with some shredded cheese, I had it with some raspberry vinaigrette, it was pretty good, could have had a few more walnuts in it though.
Got stuck in Atlanta due to weather. The lady at hotel suggested Malone's the waiter suggested the pork chops. They were the best I ever had. I would recommend Malone's to anyone. The service was incredible the food was excellent.
Wife and I were visiting Atlanta in January and this place was next to our hotel. The food was awesome. The waitress was super friendly and funny. I had a perfectly cooked steak and my wife went with their pork chops which were huge!!
Our next trip we are definitely returning.
Dined here on a Saturday night with a large party of about 15 people. We understandably had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The sign on the outside said "Bar and Grill" but the rug going in and even the profile here says "Steak and Seafood". We weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into when we went in. I had my 4 month old and my 4 year old with us, but the place definitely has more of a restaurant feel than a bar feel while we were there. Our service was great. The food was all well prepared and tasted great.
I was driving back to Alabama and stopped to eat (always looking for a good steak). While the food was very good and worth the price, and my service was well (it was an older waiter), I was dismayed by the behavior of some of the younger wait staff and girls that greet you at the door. It seems to be a party just for them and no real attention or awareness to the guests. The worst part was when one of the younger waiters called an older waiter a hate word that I find unacceptable. It makes we wonder what kind of front of house management their is, why nothing was done to apologize to the guests who heard this for the younger waiter actions, and it makes me question whether I should come back. I will probably give it another chance when in town, and I hope that they will work on the waiters and greeters.
