If you're looking for a unique dining experience then this is the place. The food is high quality and tasty, but the experience is the highlight of the melting pot. The servers make you feel appreciated and provide an entertaining cooking experience. You get to cook you're own food and it makes for a unique and enjoyable experience. The server can cook it for you if you like as well, but that's not as fun. Make sure to secure a reservation before coming, it's nearly impossible to get in without one because lots of people love this place.
This isn't the first time I've been to a Melting Pot, so I mostly have information on the service here. (Like other Melting Pots, the food is delicious. This restaurant isn't necessarily in everyone's budget though, so check out their pricing beforehand and expect to spend $50-$70~ per person.)
Our waitress was super friendly, and helped me and my partner understand all of the menu options. I was able to confirm the pricing with her, as well as which options were available to us based on the menu. (We did the build your own entree and picked the different types of meat/veggies/etc.)
She also even had cocktail recommendations, which was really helpful since they have such an extensive menu. The cocktail my partner got was well worth the price.
The hostess up front was also really helpful- she gave us information on parking when we called. She also was able to seat my partner while I parked, and even brought me over to the table was I was inside.
This Melting Pot goes above and beyond with service! A+
Well worth the price. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Fondue takes time, so expect to spend around 2 to 4 hours at the restaurant (depending on how many courses you are having). Have always had great service at this location.
The Melting Pot in Midtown ATL is wonderful! The staff is beyond courteous and the atmosphere is relaxed. The entire place is centered around the enjoyment of eating and dining with loved ones. The four course meals paired with a cocktail is the best way to go. My boyfriend and I love fondue and we find the MP Midtown location is the best for a date night.
It was a fun experience. Something I enjoyed trying once. But I wouldn't try the 4 course meal again. Portions are bite sized so it's not the place to go if you're expecting a "meal". However I would return for after dinner desert and drinks. Great ambiance for date night.
Had an incredible night with my wife. I didn't know cooking your own food could be so great!
Our daughter in law setup a birthday dinner for her husband. None of us had experienced this style of eating before. It was a fun experience. Our server was excellent and patient throughout the process. We will return.
Good food and excellent service. Be prepared to pay and don't expect a quick dinner. Definitely save some room for desert.
Ask for Chad!!! We were sitting at our table for a little while waiting for our order to come out. Chad, who wasn't our server, notice we were sitting here for a while, and asked if we were helped and we explained it had been a while. He quickly rang in our order, and served us even though we weren't in his "section" and even though he had 7 other tables. Phenomenal server, phenomenal guy all around. Will definitely come back and request him.
My husband and I went to this restaurant before a show at The Fox. It was our first time ever having fondue and we were so impressed. Our waiter was wonderful, very attentive and kind. The food was great and the sauces were superb. We loved being able to try different combinations. The yin and yang chocolate fondue at the end was superb. We will definitely be back!
I love melting pot. It's pricey, but a good amount of food. Keep in mind you are cooking your meat. You get an appetizer, main dish and dessert and if you ask, they will bring more of the things you like out to dip instead of the ones you don't plan to eat.
I usually make a reservation for here and park across the street or along the street. Came last with a big party and they had a private room for us and the service was great
My favorite dining spot! Be sure to double check way ahead of time for menu restrictions on holidays (usually a set prix fixe with a set price) and I recommend reservations when possible. The spices are perfection on the meats, the drinks are divine, and the chocolate fondues are decadent perfection. There is much fun to be had over a nice fondue dinner!
My wife and I have been to five different Melting Pot locations in three states. Our visit here tonight was our most enjoyable so far. Our server, Ryan, was phenomenal; which to establish a rapport, and on point with every need that we had. The manager, James, was equally friendly.
All the standards apply: clean location, wonderful food, and an excellent atmosphere to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day.
Our expierence started off rough. We made reservations online (through there website) 2 weeks prior. I never received a confirmation email. I called the day of our reservation to confirm, only to find out it wasn't booked. I could easily be blamed for this, but the manger went out of her way to accommodate us at later time. We appreciated it and had an amazing experience. The wait service is some of the best I've ever experienced.
A bit pricey but so worth it! I love how everything is cooked at the table in your own pot. The food was delicious!!!! The staff was very knowledgeable, gave great suggestions, and we're friendly.
