We made reservations online and we were promptly seated when we arrived. The atmosphere was quiet. I noticed the backs of the chairs where people handle them to pull them out was very dirty. There is a no hat policy so be prepared to remove your hat if you wear one. They give you two servers to wait on your table and both were very good at attending to our needs and keeping our drinks fresh. We were a party of four so it took about 15 minutes for us to make our selections. The menu doesn't include any items for finicky teenage eaters. You will not find an inexpensive meal here so be prepared to pay up. I shared three different entrees with the rest of my party and found the chicken breast dry although the others who tasted it found it acceptable. I had the steak sandwich ordered rare but there was no red left in the meat. Otherwise it was pretty good. The other filet mingon was ordered medium and came with plenty of red. The fries, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms were awesome. All said I would give the atmosphere a 4, the service a 5, the food a 3, and the cost a 3. Recommend trying it once.

Appetizers, sides, and steaks are excellent and cooked to perfection. Desserts are pretty but weLL below what you'd expect for the price. My dessert had a heaping ring of "cool whip" instead of real whip cream. Wine list satisfactory. Service is friendly but lacking for the price.

This place was fantastic. The servers (Kathy &a Jimmy) were outstanding. They checked on us reguraly (but not so much That it was annoying) and they were extremely nice and helpful with everything. Kathy especially was great, she was probably one of the best waitresses we've ever had you could tell she really loved her job. The food was amazing I especially loved the French onion soup!!! Would definitely go back again.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary at the end of May and we are making plans to go back for our anniversary next year. Our servers was very attentive and their timing for delivering our food (appetizers & entrees) was impeccable. The wine list is extensive, the appetizers were delicious and our steaks were delicious and large portioned.

While this is not a cheap restaurant, the value vis a vis the quality is a very good match. The bathrooms were immaculate and so pristine, that my wife had to go twice! Overall, an excellent dining experience. Check out the menu online so there is no sticker shock when the bill arrives.

I used to love Western Door at Seneca Niagara but since the remodel there the food quality has gone down. It's not the same. Loved the prime rib but was totally disappointed and embarrassed when I took an out of town visitor there this past Friday. Didn't even recognize the prime ribit was so thin and not seasoned thought they got it wrong and gave us steaks instead of prime rib. One was so tough could not eat. The bread was stale and hard not like it used to be..fresh and warm. Sorry but at those prices you should expect excellence not medicore. I can go to a diner and get that meal. Sorry..I loved Western Door in the past but last few times have been disappointing. You took a great 4 star restaurant and now it's just like any diner but with an expensive bill. Servers never came back to check on drink refills either.Done going there..you cut corners but you're losing customers. Sad..was one of my favorites.

Was there for dinner on Monday for my husband birthday. Quiet evening due to the day of the week. We split the wedge salad which was the whole head of lettuce, I ordered the prime rib came perfect medium rare. My only thing is the small size is now 16 oz which is alot of meat for a women. My husband got the filet perfectly cooked as well. He also ordered a baked tatoe which we also split. Our service was fantastic and they even brought him out a very nice dessert. Yes very expensive but a meal well worth it
