Awesome place great find!! It has a pool and a great staff. I think there is a kitchen and they sell adult beverages at the front desk! Nice!

Extremely small rooms, but nicely appointed. Freeway and a loud bar outside the window, very noisy. Good location though.

Hip spot in walking distance to a bunch of nice restaurants and bars. Recommend this for someone who wants to get out and enjoy a night on the town. Bed was super comfy too

Easy booking and check in. Quality accommodations, especially for a hostel. Clean. Excellent location, with beach, bars, restaurants, and shopping within easy walking distance. I highly recommend this place.

Honestly the place was great. I have no complaints. Breakfast provided, clean rooms, nice pool, kitchen to cook in, staff is nice to talk to and helpful; one of the girls let me use her computer to complete applications. The beds are clean and comfortable. Near the beach and shopping when that's what your seeking to do.

27 room Boutique Hotel. The 1st I've ever stayed in. I must say, I was very impressed. The place smelled nice and clean as I opened the front doors. Hallways has nice decor with wallpaper and carpets. Rooms are small and cozy. Only big enough for a queen bed and a small desk. Not much room to walk around room. The price for staying here is well worth it for the location, which is 2 blocks from the beach and lots of food and bar areas. If staying here just note a small area to hang your clothes up, but bring your own hangers. Also, the pool is very small, bathroom is small also. Great place to stay if your in Santa Barbara and wanting to relax on the beach. I would definately return to this location😊.

Rooms are small and not really for two strangers to occupy. Very clean, very organized staff. Lobby and kitchen available for guests to use for and make breakfast. It has almost a Bed and Breakfast vibe. Also a wine tour is available! Very nice and price is right. Recommend

Good decor, but the hostel part of it not thought through very well. The rooms are really small even for a hostel, no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes/towels on, the fan did not work. The breakfast is really basic.
The staff is great though.
If it's for a night or two for a single person, then it's ok.response / report this review -

I really liked this hotel/hostel and the friendly staff. I stayed in a private room with a view of State Street and the pool. This place has a very hipster vibe, but modern at the same time. Right next to the lobby there’s a whimsical lounge and a large kitchen. The rooms (at least the private ones) are on the small side, but it wasn’t cramped—as a solo traveler it was perfect for me. For light sleepers, noise might be an issue as this place is in between the freeway and train tracks. That also means this place is walking distance to downtown, the beach, and right in the funk zone. Parking is easy and reasonable. I do a lot of business travel to Santa Barbara and I will definitely stay here again.

Great location and vibe. Nice pool and communal area for breakfast Rooms are on the smaller side but well appointed, our daughter loved the pull down bunk bed, very cool. Would recommend.

This hotel is so cute! It's has a boutique and hipster vibe. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is big on providing space for intermingling of groups, as it has a communal kitchen, a community game room, and hostel type rooms in addition to private rooms. The rooms are small but very adorably decorated. My room had a door that went out to the pool area. Came with free continental breakfast. It was a bit pricy for the size of the room, and the blackout curtain over the patio door didn't quite cover all the light, so I was woken up early. Other than that, I had a great stay!
