I was so disappointed and embarrassed at the meal my family received on Thanksgiving. The turkey was fake and dry with no gravy, the stuffing was like a dry ball accented with no flavor, the green beans were hard. The service was extremely slow it took 2 and a half hours to eat. This was not the fault of the waiter who was wonderful but due to being the only waiter for the whole dining room.This meal was very expensive and I had better meals at a diner. I have eaten hear several times for Thanksgiving but will never eat there again.

Stopped by for lunch. There's a good selection of beers on draft and the food is delicious. The barmaid was friendly and attentive. Service was prompt.

We had a phenomenal experience. I made a reservation and requested a quieter table and thus was seated in the parlor area, which was perfect. We were a bit excluded which made conversation easy as it was not too loud. The hosts and servers were prompt and polite, and all of our food was incredible. We started with the calamari, and had the duck breast and filet. Both entrees were cooked to absolute perfection and everything on the plate paired very nicely. The chocolate dessert was a bit large for one person, but my date and I shared it so it worked out perfectly. The dessert was very decadent but an excellent end to a perfect meal. Our server struck a great balance by being present when needed and we never had to wait long for her when we finished a course or needed a refill on drinks. The staff has an excellent attention to detail. Overall one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.

Decent food and a very stately and aged building make it a very cozy romantic evening. The food gets a lot of attention to detail and comes out perfect every time.
But if you have more than a cozy crew, elbow room might be lacking and the food will get a little less attention. Larger groups will feel more 'wedding dinner'-type service and quality and less 'cooked-to-order' food quality and individual service. But it's not a deal breaker; 4 stars!response / report this review -

Had a lovely stay the room was nice it was clean. The staff was helpful and courteous. When we arrived we had a reserved parking spot as they don't seem to have a lot of parking which was nice. Unfortunately our second night the spot was not reserved we just got lucky that somebody was leaving the theater as we were pulling in. We did put the reserve sign back up as we were leaving the first morning it was just not there when we returned.

I have eaten at the Washington House several times before shows at the Sellersville Theater. The food is always very good and the service is terrific. I have stayed at the hotel as well. The rooms are immaculate and a little pricey but the service is great as well.

We came here to see Brand X play and had dinner and stayed at the Washington House. This place has not only been renovated, but updated while retaining all of the charm of the 200 year old hotel. Our room was spacious and the accommodations were top notch. The food was wonderful, too. I hope to repeat the experience sometime when another must-see act is booked at the Sellersville Theater.

A little while back, I took my girlfriend and I out for our "3 years of knowing, one and a half Dating" anniversary. It was our Best Dining Experience Ever. They helped me surprise my her by setting flowers on the table ahead of time, and gave us FREE desert for our special night. (and the booth is Gorgeous!!!) Food is Delicious, but expensive. However, we cant afford not to go! We will Definitely Be Back soon!

We went for lunch on a Sunday. My husband had a Reuben. The bread was barely toasted but the corned beef was fantastic. We were told they cure it in house. I ordered the saffron marinated chicken gluten free. It was served with rice instead of gnocchi and was out of this world. There were wonderful flavors of saffron, jalapeño and mint in the cream. I'D go back again for this dish. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was the s l o w service.

It's 9PM, they are serving New Year dinner and run out of Prime Rib? Then service was as silly and unprofessional as you'd hate it to be. This is a no-no.

Definitely gourmet quality food served in a traditional style Hotel Restaurant with a friendly old long bar. I have had 3 excellent meals here and one that I must say was a downer. I do wish they stayed open longer so as to coincide with the end of the shows and that their portions were a bit larger. I think however that if you go you will agree that it is an not to be missed adjunct to a Sellersville Theater show.

I give it the 4 stars based on eating in the Pub side, as a pub type restaurant. For sit down dining I would give it 3 stars. I like the place so I go with the higher rating. The food is pretty good. A bit hit or miss and inconsistent, but overall good. Not especially innovative, they play it safe. Standard fare. The overall quality does not justify the price, but the atmosphere is very nice so maybe that balances out the cost. The quality of the servers is solid B and they are mostly professional.
