Their food is fantastic, especially the little corn muffins that you get (I always ask for extra). If you show up a little before your reservation you can enjoy a drink at the bar, the bartenders are lovely to chat with. One thing I really like about this place is that if there is something you would like to change about your meal, you can and there's no fuss about it. I had the creme brulee for dessert and was able to get extra berries upon request. Thus is a great romantic place for couples as well as a fancy place for families, just as long as children are well behaved.

Superb dining, professional waiters, broad selection of fine dining. Great for an intimate dinner with your loved one or a professional gathering in one of the upstairs private rooms. If you go, try the warm spinach salad. Excellent! Highly recommended.

One of the absolute best restaurants in Fort Myers. Very charming and elegant Southern atmosphere, incredible food & drinks, and a level of service that is unlike anything else out there. Truly a classy beautiful dining experience.

Excellent service and excellent food. We enjoyed the artichoke fritter appetizer, scallops and steak for dinner. Highly recommend. A great option for anniversaries and birthday dinners.

Service is Excellent! The Staff where Very Curtious & Attentive.
The Food is Delicious.

Everything was amazing the food the service our waiter whose name is Keith was awesome very very satisfied loved it. The only thing that kind of ruined the evening was some doorknob name Sawyer Smith felt he needed to give us a history lesson about the restaurant. He was not very pleasant and seem to be a bit intoxicated. I could have done without that.

Love the Veranda! My husband and I had the filet and the lamb. The texcedo clad wait staff was excellent and the decor is wonderful. A great experience!

We have been frequent diners and LOVED the food and ambiance. We were excited to bring a good friend visiting from Australia. Well, the very first thing that struck me was I had made a reservation for 3 but a nice table facing the garden area. We were seated at a table meant for 2 and squeezed 3 of us at the table. It wasn't easy with 2 appetizers being ordered, wine, martini's, etc not to mention the bread and butter. I felt so tight that I GAVE OUR WAITER MIKE MY GLASS OF WATER TO TAKE AWAY AND HE SAT IT ON THE FIREPLACE MANTEL WHERE IT SAT FOR HOURS DRIPPING. That was horrible, but what really upset me was opening our menus ans saw food stains on ALL of them. I "think" Mine personally had some pepper jelly and meat juices on it. I didn't taste them, but it's my best guess. My guess enjoyed her veal cutlet with Maine lobster topping. (I happen to think she didn't know how good food could be). I ordered a Filet/medium which was very dry but edible. My husband had the Sirloin at the recommendation of our waiter, Mike. His was even worse than mine.
The Veranda has ALWAYS been our go to restaurant for special occasions, visitors, or just a very "Special" meal. Well we did get a "memorable meal but in the wrong way. Since our opinions have been going down on a constant rate, Mike acting like he couldn't wait for us to leave, we will, now trade our "GO TO" RESTAURANT to THE MISTO. Always consistent.

The food here is amazing! They have a very good wine list as well as some nice specialty cocktails. I got the salmon and it was to die for. I will definitely be trying to recreate at home since I like in NY and won't be able to get here often.

My husband's 44th Birthday dinner. Historically, I've taken him to a restaurant, that he has never been to. I was shocked to learn, that he had never had the pleasure of dining @ The Veranda!!!🤔😲😦

Recently relocated to Fort Myers from Naples. Must say, this is by far one of my favorite restaurants when looking for a special meal and night out. Staff is excellent and both food and service are outstanding.
