I have been going to this place since I was in elementary school, I am now in highschool and I am still going to this place, they always give great haircuts at a good price, the staff at this place is amazing and they have never let me down, if you are going to get a haircut I highly recommend going here!

You will pay more for a haircut here, but it is well worth it. I never feel rushed and the barbers pay attention to make sure your satisfied with your cut before you leave. Making an appointment is recommend as they are always busy.

I'm 15, but look younger. When I went here, a told my barber I wanted a just trim, I had liked the style and the length of my hair. He started by shaving off a long strip down the back of my head. I stopped him and asked how much he was taking off. He told me a 3. When I asked what that meant, the barber told me not to worry about it. 20 minutes later, I had thin hair in a style I didn't like. He had completely ignored me and my requests. He told me he knew what looked good, implying I didn't know what I was talking about. Do not go here.

A little pricey but we'll worth it compared to a lot of other places and the services you'll be getting. Very clean and professional. Good customer service! Ask for Dane! he's great and really cares.

I've visited the Barbary Shoppe maybe 20 times since my first positive experience, and I always walk out satisfied. Even after going to a few high-scale, much more expensive places in Chicago, I'm still pleasantly surprised with how friendly, professional, and skilled they are. Nick, Amir, Dane and Justin are all passionate craftsmen who put in an admirable effort with everyone they help. They do get backed up, making a same day appointment very difficult on busy days. Oh well, that's what happens when you do everything right.

Guys shop. Cigars sold here. Tvs on the walls. They can cut guys hair! Some of you feel my excitement here. Little pricy but in high rent district. Walk to shops, food, and alcohol.
