Witnessed a bunch of brats shoplift and being the nosey person that I am witness security do nothing to the little punks and let them go. This mall has a problem. Dropped my wallet about a week ago here and saw a kid pick it up and ran with it. Mall security shrugged it off and gave me attitude. Never again. I rather go to that ran down Cary town center then back at this hell hole.

Creating a hostile environment with the use of license plate scanners is a really bad idea. I share a car in my household, did you stop to consider that possibility? I work in this mall but not for this mall (my paycheck doesn't come from you) and shop at this mall but I don't have to shop here and neither does anyone else. I guess you would prefer I spend my money at Crabtree Valley Mall?

A little lawyerese first - Let me remind you - "Designated park-and-ride spaces for transit customers are required as part of the city permit to build the Streets at Southpoint mall."
Your action to tow vehicles directly violates the mall’s site plan and the Unified Development Ordinance (Section 10.2.2),
I am absolutely shocked that you have even considered towing people who have full rights to Park and Ride. You, sir, are in flagrant violation of the law if you do so.

Specifically I want to tell you about the Shoppers Massage. I’d like to keep quiet and keep it as my own little secret but it’s toooooo good. Go see Anna or Hong. They have healing in their hands and they know their stuff. It’s magic meets eastern medicine wrapped up in a massage with sprinkles on top. Hong has gotten knots out of me in 30-45 min that I’ve had for weeks and weeks and weeks.
Park at Panera entrance, walk straight in and it’s to the left of the kid play area.
You won’t be sorry you went.

This is a great mall- I've been coming here for over a decade, and it's a great place to shop, eat, or just walk the length for exercise. Most of the mall kiosks are not a problem, but there are always one or two that have to harass people- the hair flatironing kiosk (I don't know if it's still there- last year it was), and the bath salts one (next to the Massage kiosk). They always start with a "hey I love your hairstyle!" to get your attention- or a "miss can I ask you a question?" and then they start in with their sales pitch. You literally have to be rude to them in order for them to stop. I wish there was some kind of policy that prevented them from heckling folks- because I find myself like speeding up when I walk by these kiosks. Aside from a few bad kiosks, the rest are fine, and the shops are, of course, fine (they don't harass you lol). The employees at Nordstrom are the best- they go out of your way to get to know you, regardless of whether you actually buy anything. And the Cheesecake Factory folks are very nice as well (didn't used to be this way, but management must have changed- they're all very nice now). I didn't notice any racial issues, unlike some of the reviews previously posted. Honestly, I see Southpoint as a giant melting pot- I see people of all races and religions, and despite the racial profiling from security (which I never doubt- and I'm really saddened to hear this happens) everything else about the mall is pretty diverse and never disruptive (well, except for the kiosks lol).

Best place to get together with family friends and coworkers for one stop dining, shopping and recreation!!! Love the Fork in the Road - Pholicious! Ichiban and Porchetta!!, Nordstrom and Sears are awesome and last but not the least, Barnes and Noble for coffee and a great read!! It's great to be out strolling as well!! Happy New Year Peeps!!

I enjoy shopping and going to the movies at Southpoint mall. However the new "security" and space limit policy at the Southpoint GoTriangle Park and Ride is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Earlier today, I drove up to find the spaces that were formerly open (unlabeled, and without a barrier) roped off to include about 4 or 5 rows. Because there was no room for me to park within the very limited roped off area (at 9:20 AM during the SUMMER) I parked on the other side of the barrier. As I walked to the bus, a man (I presume he was with mall security) asked if I was going to the bus. When I said yes, he stated "In the future, you're going to have to park in the designated spaces." When I asked "What happens if there aren't any spaces?" He said "Then we're out of spaces."
excuse me, but how in the world are you OUT OF SPACES in a huge parking lot on an unbusy side of the mall that isn't even full on holiday weekends? It seems to me like you should.I don't knowADD MORE SPACES. Instead of making people who are doing nothing but trying to get to work or school compete for spots that you could easily make available to them. There's no apparent reason for this new policy, and all the time I would have spent at the mall shopping when I got off the bus will now be spent elsewhere, likely with me trying to find a new place to park rather than deal with the threat of being ticketed or towed by the mall cops with nothing better to do.
I cannot believe that Southpoint mall has instituted this idiotic policy without speaking to consumers or those who actually need this service, and I certainly won't be spending time or money here if I can avoid it (which I can, because Crabtree is about the same distance from me but now held in much higher esteem).response / report this review -

Mall security needs to handle shoplifters in a better more professional way that doesn't get the employees working for some reason in some kind of trouble because they aren't doing the jobs correctly. It is not employees job to do anything but report a shoplifter and make sure security handles it. If security doesn't handle it they need to be fired.

I can't believe what I witnessed at this mall yesterday. I saw a group of girls STEALING at the Claires store. The employee at Claires told security about the incident and the security guard did nothing to apprehend the suspects who were right in front of him. How disappointing it is that we have no regard for shoplifting at the mall. These young ladies are now goingto think it's okay to steal and there are no consequences. Sorry Southpoint, you lost a customer yesterday with your poor staffing decisions.

today i came into lush and i was assisted by a WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL young woman named Kylie (she has musical notes tattooed on her wrist, im only clarifying because there are multiple kylies who are currently employed by Lush and i dont want anyone to steal her shine). She was such a joy and made sure myself and a friend were completely satisfied. I've been coming to this mall since I relocated from Philadelphia back in 2013 and I can honestly say that I always coming here. It's always clean, even the bathrooms and the stores always have great customer service.

This is the only mall I really go toit has the best variety from stores to entertainment to dining. Some malls lean heavily towards moms and teens but S.A.S. has something for everyone with good variety.
