This is an awesome Irish bar. Plenty on tap plenty of craft Brews, plus all the classic beer you've come to expect. Would totally recommend this place. the atmosphere can't be beat.

My friend and I went here for lunch. He had a turkey club with fries. The sandwich was huge. It used 3 pieces of bread! I had the Giuness beef stew, small salad, and a veggie burger with onion rings. Everything was great. If the menu had more options, I'd give it 5 stars.

If you want great service this is the place to go. Food is great they always have some type of live music or Comedy shows. Mob deep plus others do come here. If your looking for the irish/brit vibe this is the place. Plenty of patio space to smoke and bring your drinks. One of my favorite place to come after work. 5 stars all the way. Love neal the owner

I love going to shows here! The food is good. I frequently order the turkey club, but a new beer selection would be ideal

Service at the bar can be hit or miss. I have enjoyed a few meals here during trivia nights. The live shows that come through can be pretty sweet as well. I was just at a show were the performer moved the acoustic part of the show outside on Elm. Check their Facebook for special events, most are free!

I've lived in Manchester for almost two years now and the Shaskeen (heretofore the 'skeen) is one of my favorite places to go.

They've got a great selection of beers, the staff is attentive, and the owner is usually around to tell a joke in a legit brogue, all of which combine to create more of a pub vibe more than a bar vibe. The decades worth of signed dollar bills adorning every inch of wall space and the marked scarcity of televisions absolutely add to the experience.

Adding to this, the 'skeen is also one of the best places in Manchester to see live music. From acoustic Irish music on Sundays to Led Zeppelin cover bands on weekends, they do a great job of creating a great atmosphere.

    Worth your time.

If you want a lively (but not too overwhelming) place to eat, drink , and be merry - this is it! Great atmosphere, live music, SUPERB bartenders - I've brought dozens of friends here and everyone absolutely loves it. Props to Neal for always making us laugh, and never letting us go thirsty!

Bartenders are friendly. Mix of clientele comedy night on Wednesday is amazing. The management here does a good job. Only good things to say.
