I had so much fun here on the tour and tasting. I can't wait to go back. They have events scheduled on their website every few days, and offer tours every day. I recommend going on a weekday morning if you want to skip the crowd and get some extra free tasting.

I was looking to make a quick get away for the weekend due to personal reasons. I saw a huge airplane and assumed this was an airport. It's not. Conveniently it's a coffee shop/distribution center. I stayed and had a cup of coffee and mulled over my life choices. Turns out my life isn't so bad after all. Thanks airplane coffee factory for changing my life. Also they have car charging ports.

Best $5 I've spent all year! Fun little tour with great info about coffee and its origins. Cassie was a great tour guide. Approximately 45 min to 1 hour tour. Souvenir glass AND hairnet included in $5 price!

I had a chance to visit and take a tour. (Free and highly recommended). The quality of coffee produced truly is special. I am an avid coffee consumer who samples the best wherever I travel.

Being out of the area, I LOVE their subscription service. Set it and forget it. The best part of the coffee is that until you order it - it isn't roasted. There is no warehouse for roasted beans - everything is fresh and packed in Nitrogen.

This was our second experience here and it was more disappointing than the first. We ended up here when a sign on the door at Baked in Kansas City told us they were serving up their baked goods at the Roasterie, but when we got there there were very little baked goods. I guess Baked in KC is leasing the space but not baking there? We went ahead and got a cup of coffee and something from the bakery case, which was a mistake; we should have moved on. My daughter ordered a London Fog which was not made well-little to no vanilla and not near strong enough tea. My wife got a slice of iced banana bread, which was overdone and dry. When we went back for a refill on the coffee, they added insult to injury and said we would need to pay for a refill. We left and do not plan to return. The space is cold and industrial anyway and very noisy since there are so many hard surfaces. There are so many places to get good coffee with a good atmosphere anymore we don't need to come here. We came for the promised baked goods anyway, which were a no-show.

Very nice place with windows throughout so you can see the roasting areas while standing in the shop. I specifically went to pick up some coffee beans and found that the in-shop prices were upwards of 30% more than on their website. Ended up ordering them online, then having the order fulfilled while standing there. The staff were super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, so the wait was a pleasant one. I'll be buying again, but will know how better to do it next time.

One of our favorite parts about our trip to KC. Excellent coffee. Ethically sourced. Tour was great. Mike, the tour guide, was very informative and enthusiastic. They even had some ethically made (made in USA) clothing and items in the gift shop. Also they have plenty of parking and it's easy to access.

On top of the wonderful coffees they make, the roasting tour is by far top notch. Our guide Jonathan was pumped full of information and humor. He made the time zip by quickly with stories and proper coffee roasting. I highly recommend if you are there to grab a cup of joe and take the tour. Also, ask about the history of the airplane logo. Best story ever.

Delicious food. Figuring out where to go was odd. The food is outside on the side of the building not in the butcher shop. A little over priced but was worth the drive.

Great free tours where you learn a lot about coffee and get a sample. Amazing coffee. Drive thru is fast and not super busy in the mornings.

I like the Roasterie as much as anyone else who lives in KC. They have a cool Sunday brunch event and support a lot of local events. Their coffee can be a bit strong but overall its very good. They have classes and tours as well so if you are looking for something to do check it out.
