Great for small groups and small children. The minigolf is ok the open courses are old and they show it. But they are remodeling one of the courses and it looks fantastic! Go karts are insane with at least 3 other people.

This place is really improving with there arcade. However there golf course is rough. They need to put more work into that however cool crest is a significantly cheaper alternative to many other places that are similar plus they are open till 11 during the week so its always a go to since I don't get weekends off. Overall its ok. I haven't done the go carting in a long time and they do have batting cages just not for me.

Certainly for older kids. But still alot of fun for the whole family. We could've spent all day here. Employees need to be a little more friendly it makes the difference because of my experience with staff i would consider going somewhere else.

My kids love this place, they say its better then chuckie cheese.. it's affordable and there's lots to do. Mini golf, go-carts, a jungle gym and the arcade! Only little issue is the bathrooms, when I've gone they are kinda gross. Food is okay.

Very busy the night we went. Could have used more staff at counter to accommodate the crowd. Overall the golf was fun they have several courses to choose from, go carts were fun, it would be nice if they updated or expanded that area. Batting cages were run down. Staff friendly.

I always Loved coming to this establishment since i have been a kid.I haven't been there in 9 years, they have the best selection of mini golf courses in the metro area. I've never had a bad experience until today when I had my seven-year-old daughter there with me playing mini golf and a homeless man was walking around to every single person playing mini golf holding a sign saying that he's homeless and he needs money and begging all the guest for money even the parents that had young kids with them. I think that they need to have security guards outside to make sure things like that does not happen to guess when they come to spend money at There establishment and that every guess feels safe with there kids,I've always taken my daughter to Paradise Park in Lee Summit and today I told her I wanted to take her to Cool Crest where I used to go when I was little because they have the best miniature golf courses. I understand that there are less fortunate people in the metro area but when I come to have a good time with my daughter and spend money in a establishment I do not expect someone to come up when I'm playing miniature golf and beg me for money. I would suggest that they have more security so experiences like this don't happen ever again. My daughter was very upset about the situation and it was really hard to try to explain to her what happened.. I would hope that the owner looks into this situation to make sure that this doesn't happen to any other guests trying to spend money at his establishment. This is the worst family experience that I have ever had with my daughter when we were trying to go have a good time.

First time visiting in several years. It does looks like they have made some repairs to the mini golf courses but still a few mechanicals that didn't work. :( Nice to see most of the fountains working again and did some much needed painting and landscape. Definitely need to resurface the walkways around the them though. I could see a few spots being a trip hazard. Enjoyed playing all 4 courses with my son and if they continue with the repairs and maintenance we probably will return more.

This place could definitely be kept up better. Usually when I come the course is full of leaves and sticks and the occasional moving item not working. Overall though I love all the courses here! I love the look. I hope they don't update anything about that. Plus the music and lighting I love as well. They don't have any of those stupid LED lights. I just wish they'd clean up the courses a bit.

The golf is awesome for the kids then went to the go carts and finished in the arcade. It was a great day. We had alot of fun!

Great for kids. My daughter LOVES the big, yellow slide. If you have elementary school age children, they can play in the play area with climbing, swing and giant slide for only 4 dollars per child.

This place is dated (been around since the 1950's, and it shows), but is a fun place for mini-golf and go-karts. While the decor needs an update, this place is clean and felt safe. I'd feel comfortable bringing my family here.

I'll try the batting cages next time. The mini-golf had a lot of variety, which I enjoyed. Didn't have time to check out the arcade, but I might try that on another trip.

An Old School Classic.

Cool Crest has a great course selection, 2 on the shady side, 2 on the sunny side. A go kart track and batting cages. Plenty of options to keep the whole family entertained. The courses could use some upkeep (balls disappear on about any "mechanical"" hole). There is a reason this place has been in business for so long. Don't miss out.
