Decent atmosphere - delightfully tackey
and a bit gaudy all at the same time. However, the down fall of this place wasnt the atmosphere or average food, it was the horrendous service. The staff began clearing tables as we were eating, reaching over us and our plates. I had to say something! Also the gentlemen pouring water glasses would rest the water pitcher on the lip of every glass when refilling them. Not a horrible place given we are in the Hartford area, but other then the coat lady and bartender, this place as a whole is sub-par.

Beautiful atmosphere, Terrible service, They were clearing the table as we were eating, (Salt & pepper, Wines so on) Reaching over us while eating? I guess the staff just want's to go home.

This place is beautiful so for that I'll give them 5 stars, but that's not all if you want a party there. Appetizer looked like they went to Costco and bought some ready platters, food was discussing. It looks like every single member of the stuff is putting spices to the food, potatoes were so salty that you couldn't eat, stake was burned and covered in way to salty gravy, and salad did look like it was from a party from day before. So if you want a party here bring your own food, because your guests will be hungry. And prices - too expensive just for the venue . Sorry but that's why only 2 stars.

Beautiful venue. However, don't leave any valuables out in the open. When I was tearing up the dance floor my shades were stolen off the table by the wait staff. When I said something management seemed very disinterested.

I came here for a friend's wedding. The views outside were gorgeous and made for a wonderful outdoor ceremony. The reception area inside was also well suited to large groups well over 200 people to get out on the dance floor, have conversation areas, offer a bar separated from the main dining area, and space and acoustics for live bands to play. Overall a great location for weddings.
