My favorite theater. It's cozy and usually has the movies I want to see.
The theater almost never fills out (with the only exception being Thor and Jumanji). So you can waltz in 5 minutes before the movie begins and still get a comfortable prime center-row seat. And if you're getting the popcorn, definitely pay the $1 extra to get the ranch seasoning. It's a no-brainer.
Not very crowded but WAAAAAY overpriced but what are you gonna do? My boyfriend proposed here so it will always have a special place in my heart.
This theater is a bit farther away from my home the other theater options, but I dont mind going the extra distance because this is a nice theater with mostly cozy theater rooms. The seats are comfortable and they are usually elevated enough that you dont have to look at the head of the person in front of you.
Nice theatre. Needs updating
Hoyt has really nice employees.
Great movie theater. Convenient for Avon and Simsbury.
Good local movie theater- Could upgrade their seats but overall pretty decent local movie theater. Get their Groupon they offer at times- 13 bucks, includes a ticket, large popcorn and large drink..Great deal.
Amazing staff! I love the $6 all day any movie every Tuesday and Wednesday! Hoyts is definitely my go to Theater :)
I saw Dr. Strange with my friends. I had an enjoyable time, the quality of the movie screen was great, the seats were confortable but the one downside of going here is the prices are way too high. Yes I know that movie thearters are all over priced but selling a box of candy for $4.25 is over priced. I would go to this thearter more often if the food was cheaper. I came with $30 and left with $4 only buying one ticket, one box of candy, medium popcorn, and a large ICEE. Besides being very overpriced I would recomend this thearter to anyone who is not afraid of losing money.
Great place to see a movie but an awful choice for employment. A friend of mine gained a job here to start saving for their future, and this establishment never paid them for 'orientation' (which is illegal by the way) and not only that, a few months into the year a fellow employee began to abuse them verbally, emotionally and by the end of their employment threatened them bodily harm. Instead of taking care of the situation, when this individual later suffered from severe depression, they kept this employee hired until he left himself freely. If you fully support this establishment, you're supporting the treatment of what my friend went through and still suffers from it to this day. She isn't the first to be treated like this.
Last night my 12 year old grandson walked off with his popcorn but failed to wait for the change from the 10 dollar bill I gave him. We decided to wait until after the movie to go see if they would believe us. I did not have high hopes. But low and behold, it was waiting for us, carefully put aside. In this day and age of lack of honesty among so many people I was amazed!!! Little things like this speak volumes about a person and a place. Also, very clean, polite and well organized theater. Most highly recommended!!
Even when crowded lines move fast. 8 theaters so they normally have plenty of viewing options. Easy to get to.
Expensive, as most theaters are. (*TIP: if you go down the road to Big Y, you can purchase movie flyers at their customer service desk, save around $3) concessions are good and service is good! Seats are comfy and spaced enough. Almost always Super clean. Offers pretty good times and showings.
