Friendly staff. Really nice indoor pool and a nice dinner right next to it. Only really big problem they have is the door system sucks bad. Everytime I'd leave my room I couldn't get back in. Always had to go back to the front desk and get a new card issued. Also the smoke alarm would go off everytime I'd shower ? Really annoying.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in to be honest as far as cleanliness goes. Staff was friendly but that accounted to 5 mins of my time spent there. My room was disgusting, bathroom disgusting, elevator disgusting. Everything outside the lobby which only smells okay because the pool is right there stinks. Pretty sure the maids only vacuum rooms and change sheets. Don't think it ever saw any kind of cleaning spray 🤮 very upsetting as I've had good experiences at other La Quinta's.

Deception. I overpaid for the lack of quality and cleanliness at this particular hotel. It seems more like a bad motel 8. The reception lady was rude, the room maids pretty much forced our colleague out of his room because they wanted to clean it on their schedule, and the whole place smells Dirty, INCLUDING our room. I was grossed out by this place. I will not be coming here again. They are ruining "La Quintas" reputation as a decent hotel.

Nice, comfortable rooms, very convenient for attending shows at the Cap. Only downside was no fridge, but there's an ice machine and a sink so if you're resourceful you'll make do.

Great hotel, love the indoor heated pool. The restaurant has some excellent food and they will bring it to your room for a small fee. You also get a discount at the restaurant if you show your room key.

Easy access right off I95, large parking lot and a nice attached diner. Helpful personnel, not all English speaking though. Kids loved making their own waffles as part of the continental breakfast. Originally we thought we could walk to Old Greenwich train station, but with kids it turned out a little to risky as the road has no sidewalk.

One of the worst hotel experiences I've had. We were given our first room and the shower didn't work and the AC wasn't working either. So they gave us another room (which was much better). The location is pretty good and their breakfast was decent.
The part that infuriated me was the fact that the room was paid for in advance by someone else, yet they took my credit card and told me "it's just in case anything happens", which I understood but you have the other credit card on file so why would you need mine? I look at my bank account the following morning (Saturday June 10) and they had charged me the full amount! So not only did they charge my card, they charged the other person's card as well. I was then told by management (her name is Kelly) that "the hold was being taken off my card", yet it's 2 business days later and the money still isn't being put back into my account. I will be trying one more time today to ask them to put that money back into my account and if not, I may have to take legal action.
I would never recommend anyone to stay here unless you were in an emergency situation. Steer clearresponse / report this review -

Quite at the higher floors. Easy parking. Breakfast room has plenty of space. Great choice to those traveling south into NYC

Staff was courteous and friendly, very helpful with answering all of our questions. Rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfy!

No amenities such as mini fridge or microwave. Food packaging from last customer was left on the floor and the hotel room. Staff was friendly. Nice Diner attached to the front of the hotel but a little pricey. Had a pool that was very warm more of a big hot tub. Free continental breakfast was good but basic. Hotel was easy accessible from the freeway.

I booked a room at this hotel hoping that it would be a nice stay after a 15 hour day on the road with my dog. They claim to be pet friendly but there is NO where for one to take their pet out. Thankfully, they cancelled my room for free so I could find another hotel. The Even Hotel accommodated us wonderfully and had a huge grass area to let my dog out at. If you are pet friendly, have the accommodations for pets.
