I got bit by fleas, or some other insects. I was promised a room that had no pets previously. I learned later that at least one other person had experienced bites and or hives. I would never stay here again. Very shaky and they retain your personal information at check in, for what I don't know. There's nothing to damage. I don't ever fill these surveys out. This place is not for business travelers.

Wonderful motel! Owner was so amazingly nice. Bed was comfortable. Quiet. Clean. There was a basic breakfast. Easy to find. Would definitely stay again!

Traveling through town for work and we decided to call this home for the night. Customer service was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly!! Rooms were big and price was fair. The only thing I can say that could have been better was the cleanliness of the floors in the bathroom.

Newly renovated floors, nice blankets (Amish made), new pillows and towels. Great experience overall, with friendly staff.

I went to the Plaza Motel last week and I'm very glad I did. The staff was very kind and always willing to help, and not to mention the food tasted great. I will be visiting The Plaza Motel again in the future.

We have used the Plaza Motel several times over the past few years and this stay has been the best to date. The new owner has started making many improvements, the room was very clean, the new bedding in the deluxe rooms was nicer than some of the expensive hotels in the area, and the new manager was so friendly and helpful.

The Plaza Motel serves up a good value and for the money is about as much as you can reasonably expect. The rooms are dated and there were a few shower tiles that looked ready to fall out at any minute. Also, the advertised continental breakfast turned out to be not much more than some goodies from Walmart. Regardless, the place was clean and was very satisfactory for the money.

First let me say that the staff are exceptional. Very kind and accommodating. During my stay I was set back a few hours due to an accident on I-80 and the desk attendant stayed an hour after her shift to make sure I was able to receive the room key.

Secondly, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the amenities (cable, microwave, minifridge). I felt very safe and comfortable for the night I spent and will certainly be stating again during my next trip to Chicago.
