This was the 2nd time staying at Palmettos. 1st time was amazing and nothing to complain about. 2nd I though I ordered a room with the kitchen but when I walked into the room there was no kitchen. Went back to the office and asked what I ordered. They told me i ordered wrong but let me have the other room with the kitchen with no extra cost. That was nice. Rooms are always clean. Always got the top level room like I asked. Pool is amazing. It's 7 1/2 feet deep 😎😎 and closes at 12 in the morning . Their back deck has a bar, chairs that lay down and they have a covered area to eat. I will always stay here when visiting PCB.
When I was a boy growing up on Panama City Beach, many family-owned and operated hotels took great pride in providing a genuine and pristine beach experience by working to make their property the best it could be. This is one of those rare commodities from the past. The Hughes family has done an impeccable job of keeping the property in top condition while creating a welcoming and personal environment not seen in most modern condominium or chain hotel establishments. Did I mention "TOP" condition this place is well taken care of and VERY clean. From the pool area to the rooms to the grounds, everything speaks of class. Add to this the fact that the Inn is situated in the middle of so many things. Only a mile from Pier Park, one of the beaches best combinations of shopping, dining and other miscellaneous entertainment. Several great restaurants are literally within walking distance including Boar's Head (one of my favorites), Sand Bar and Muy Wayne O's. Their beachfront is also in great shape with beach service and gulf front rooms available. Full kitchens are also available in some rooms which is very attractive to my family. We will definitely be back again and again.
Highly recommend! If you're looking for a nice, clean, friendly place to stay and don't want to drain your beach budget .THIS IS THE PLACE! The staff were nice and helpful. They have a bar near the pool with great drink choices (Great job Scott). Beach was gorgeous. The pools were cleaned and scrubbed every morning. The location was great, close to everything. They have shuffle board but didn't see anyone play all week. Would be nice if they had corn hole boards that could be set up on the shuffle board so it could have a dual purposejust a recommendation.
Great place with great views! We were locals wanting a weekend at the beach. Immaculately kept rooms, nice pool area and walked right out to the beach. Close to a lot of nice restaurants. Will definitely come again!
This has been a great family trip! We didn't expect much because of the reviews on different sites. We had a beach view room and the room was nice and spacious. Would definitely stay here again! I would take off a half point for the size of the gym, but nice for the size it is.
The hotel staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and conveniently on the beach. The pool and jacuzzi were clean as well. The price was affordable. I enjoyed the balcony room with the ocean view. If you can book that room, you wont regret it. The hotel overall is well kept. The only flaws I would say is the parking area is small and they dont serve breakfast.
This was a good place to stay on our Easter trip with the kids. Rooms were spacious enough with our group. Has a small kitchenette so we are able to fix lunch to help save some cash.
The location is nice, on the quiet end of the beach, the rooms are clean, a bit dated but fine for what we wanted it for, just somewhere to sleep. Beach is nice and quiet. Calm.
7th floor great view. Nice people quick check inn. Pool heated and hot tub. Clean room nice size. Good water pressure in shower.
Only downside is neighbor was super loud but that's not hotels fault.
Highly recommend will be back
Overall the room was clean and nice. I left off a star because they did not leave coffee or paper towels in the room. Paper towels I could understand not being in the room, but coffee is not ok.
