Their tacos are pretty good. The friend chicken ones are delish. Their micheladas are great, made with any beer they have in house. Spin the wheel for free desserts or credit for your bill!!?? I'm in. The service is also pretty great. Even when it's busy they make sure that they're on top of it.

I traveled the world to seek the best Tacos. I do not need to travel no more. The best everything I have ate! Did not need to change anything about our food. No salt or sauce required. Perfect just the way it melted in my mouth.

Food is incredible! Salsa bar is so good and there's lots of interesting takes on salsa I've never seen before. There was a really interesting yet tasty peanut salsa that really took me for surprise. All the tacos are good and they have tasty specials. Definitely a must try!

The Original El Taco is a Mexican restaurant with some unique items offered in addition to the regular menu. The beans and rice were good as were my enchiladas. The atmosphere is rustic and cool with outdoor patio seating.

I've tried pretty much all of the tacos and they were all fantastic! The salsa bar has some really yummy options, the guacamole is on point, and the chips have a nice seasoning on them that complements all of the appetizers perfectly. This is one of my new favorite spots! I wish my drink had been a little stronger last time, but that's an easy fix.

Awesome drink specials, a great place to watch football. The food was pretty good, the chorizo queso was my favorite. I'm usually a fan of unique foods, but I'd stick to the normal stuff here. Some of the oddball menu items, while a good idea, were not that great.

Never again! This is our second and last time at this place. Both times service has been woefully slow. Management has absolutely no clue how to run this place on weekends (hint: clear your tables fast so that you can turn them fast). 15 minutes wait for water & chips and salsa: unacceptable. $8 for a skinny margarita poured from a plastic pitcher: not worth it. Part of the charm of ordering a cocktail (at the bar) is the preparation of the drink itself. Worst part is that no one seems to give a damn about their guests' experience.

The atmosphere of this place was fun, but the service we received was painfully slow. We were there for a couple of hours, most of the time just waiting on our food. The food itself was very average, nothing special. It's certainly not authentic Mexican if that's what you're looking for. The bulk of the menu was tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas, which was fine with me, but tacos are individual, and pretty expensive for being tacos. I got enchiladas, but other people at the table ordered tacos and enchiladas, and the consensus from everyone is that it's all very average. There is a salsa bar, which was nice. Bottom line, I wouldn't go back here, just because it was nothing special and certainly not worth waiting as long as we did for.

Great local Mexican. Chips are super tasty, and you can't go wrong with their dips. Definitely more "family friendly" vs "late night margaritas" (even though their drinks are great!)

Fun food, fun atmosphere and service. The wheel of prizes is cool.

The food is better than your typical Mexican place.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The service is always good, you can win stuff (they spin a wheel every hour and if they land on your number, you win!), the tacos are awesome. I always get the fried chicken taco and grilled scallions. We usually try whatever taco they have on special and I've never been disappointed. Also, they have a salsa bar! Unlimited different salsas! Not many things could make me happier.

The black beans and rice are the sh#t. Fish tacos are also amazing. All around great place to get some Mexican food.

There needs to be half stars. Should be 4.5 The service was great and the food was pretty close to lovable. The cheese dip might be one of the best in Atlanta. The fajitas were tasty but need more meat and less onions. The churro was meh, have had much better.

Great place to go with kids. They have a laid back atmosphere and simple mexican menu. Service is fast and friendly. And they do serve good margaritas.
