I went to Republic Social House with some friends for brunch on a Saturday. I've recently heard about their $10 bottles of champagne, which is now $15, and wanted to try it out. It was pretty quiet when we walked in around 12 noon. We waited to be seated upstairs on the balcony for about 30-45 mins. As we waited we were able to order drinks. Once we were seated we had one of the nastiest waiters ever, Blake! It took him about 20 minutes to finally come over and take our orders. He was rude and very unresponsive once he finally took our orders. All of our food came out at different times in 20 minute increments. The two people whose food arrived first food got cold because they waited another 20-30 minutes just for Blake to bring the silverware, which should have already been on the table, but even if it wasn't it doesn't take 30 minutes to grab silverware.
We spoke with the manager, Noelle, who was very sweet and took care of all of our needs. She reordered food that had gotten cold after waiting for silverware, she provided a free bottle of champagne for our troubles, and also discounted tickets for the individuals who were unhappy with the service. Thanks so much Noelle! Blake did finally bring silverware AFTER the manager had already taken care of it, and he threw the silverware on the table. Rude and unprofessional.
Food: The shrimp and grits were a miss!! No flavor at all. Steak and eggs were pretty good. The seafood mac & cheese with the buffalo chicken was amazing!!!! And the chicken philly with queso was delicious.
All in all the food was good, service was terrible, drinks were great.

Went for Karaoke on a Wednesday, which was fun. Sat out on the rooftop deck area and there were huge roaches everywhere. Even the bathroom smelled like roach spray. I'd go back for dirty karaoke and maybe a bottled beer, definitely wouldn't eat there again!

It’s been hit or miss lately. I don’t know if they’re understaffed but the severs are terrible lately. Brought my sister here for her birthday thinking a nice Sunday rooftop vibe would be nice, they totally soiled the vibe.

I enjoyed it! I've had my share of po boys I must say that this is the closet if not identical to the ones I find in New Orleans. PO BOY IS SPOT ON!!!!! The atmosphere is cozy and feels like you're in your friends basement sharing memories and throwing back a good drink. I'll be back ((in my terminator voice))

Excellent Sunday brunch drinks. The queso was excellent, but it took a LONG time to come from the kitchen, and the place was not busy at all. Be prepared to wait.

Somewhat disappointed. First experience here was not favorable. Steak(medium well) and eggs. Food was not prepared correctly steak was medium at best and eggs were cold. Server was MIA except to ask if one or two checks.

After a day of working in our yard, my other half and I came to Republic Social House quite hungry. We both absolutely loved our food. And, our waitress, Hayden, she was the bomb!! Awesome service!!! We'll be back!

Republic is slowly climbing back up in terms of reliability and good food. Pub staples dominate the menu and there's a rooftop bar that's perfect during nice weather. I hope that with the increased foot traffic coming to Memorial they'll add a little polish to a place that's starting to show it's age.
