My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at the Noizy Oyster tonight and will make sure we go back. The staff were very nice, fast and kind. The food was good, restaurant was clean and would have given a 5 star but the coffee needed half and half not milk.
Crab dip was AWESOME. Seared Tuna was medium instead of rare, but overall food was good. My only complaint is wait staff should not assume that everything should have been on one bill when our table was made up of all women.
Good food better service then food! Waitress kept our drinks full and that's saying a lot with the amount of water I drink! She had a great attitude!
Shrimp was great. Very casual atmosphere. Looked a bit weathered and worn. Most sides are priced separately so bill can add up quickly.
It’s a fun place to get together with friends. Their gumbo soup is tasty and could be a meal by itself. The blackened ahi tuna sandwich and oyster tray are awesome. Overall is very good, clean, reasonable price and tasty.
This is always on our must visit, at least once, every time we are in Myrtle Beach. Absolutely delicious, fresh fish and chips! With a signature rum punch fishbowl as a little treat. Excellent food, excellent outdoor dining, and good prices. What more could you ask for? What are you waiting for??? GO!!!
We went here with our family of five. Our kids shared the chicken tender kids meal. Lots of food on the plate and one kids meal fed 3 small kids. I had the steampot and loved it. My husband had the jambalaya and said it was good as well. Everything was great. The only thing that I didn't like was my husband's friend and his family of five wanted to come with us so we just sat together which ended up making us pay 18% gratuity on each ticket. It does tell you on the menu about the gratuity it just kind of sucked still because we planned to go alone and the service wasn't in my opinion worth a $25 tip. It was as if the waitress knew she was getting gratuity so she really didn't care. We were asking questions about food on the menu and she never knew the answers. Every time she answered us she started it with " I think" .. Either way The food was good and we will definitely return just not with that many people. Can't blame the restaurant because all places do that I believe.
Ate happy hour on Saturday. Great apps. So good went back Sunday 7/9 for more. By far best 2 seafood meals we have eaten here. Mussels were served fresh in a great broth. Ahi perfect, and can't forget the crab mac and cheese. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this!✌🏼oh and service is great
Two of us had the Maui Maui and it was delicious. One of us had the crab legs. She was in heaven. We regret we are leaving tomorrow..because we want to come back. Will definitely return and recommend. Service was excellent. Our server Hayley was awesome. 😘. Give that gal a promotion.
Read the reviews and felt like we had to give this one a go. It did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and because it was happy hour got us an order of crab Mac and cheese. It was very yummy. We followed it up with a steam pot for two that was perfectly cooked. Great taste. My only complaint was the amount of butter. While it made it taste good it was hard to crack the crabs because everything was so slippery. We will definitely be back. Cool atmosphere and great food.
Expensive price for mediocre food and drinks. Had a catfish sandwich for $13, not bread than fish at that cost. Also had seafood nachos, greasy and cheese not well distributed Piled on top AND found a macaroni noodle in my food! Happy hour starts at 4, ordered the fish bowl mai tai something something drink (alcoholic) I walked out without an issue. More juice and ice than what I thought I was paying for. The best thing about this place was the waitress Jennifer. (Chocolate girl just in case they're 2) awesome personality and very friendly. Happy hour is 4-7 😜
New ownership, an annual favorite has fallen off our repeat list. Bucket of oysters was depressing less than half full, shrimp in a butter pool, & problems with the drink machine. Nice artwork and remodeled well, but it was the food that kept us coming back & the seafood nachos were the best thing we tried.. *disappointed*
Don't be fooled by reviews. Not only is it new ownership this year, but when they first reopened they maintained previous owners menu and to a degree quality levels. It was a far cry from that on my visit 12/4/2016.
No longer Maryland style crab cakes but a typical mostly stuffing type crab cake that was quite greasy.
The crab leg clusters, what a joke. Now 8.95 a cluster but it would take at least 4 of these baby clusters to make up a normal cluster. Was 20.00 a pound when they reopened and 20.00 for 2 pounds under previous ownership. Bottom line if you like Red Lobster for seafood you'll probably like the new Noisy Oyster. My biggest regret is the number of people I had told about how great Noisy Oyster was previously.
It doesn’t look like much, but this place was a pleasant surprise. We went based on the great reviews and it was definitely worth the chance. We had the seafood nachos and shared a fried platter of coconut shrimp, flounder, clam strips, and regular shrimp. All were amazing! The manager who hosted and our waitress were very friendly. We would definitely suggest anyone to visit this place as you will not be disappointed.
Prepare to have your mind and taste-buds blown away! This is our first trip to Myrtle Beach and today we went searching for a good seafood place- enter the Noizy Oyster! It's a casual dining experience with great prices and even greater food and waitstaff. Our waitress was a lovely woman named who Rene, who had a fantastically bubbly personality that made us feel like old friends on our very first visit! Besides the amazing staff that you'll find at this little gem of a restaurant, you'll find some of the most delicious eats the grand strand had to offer. If you come within 30 miles of Myrtle Beach, get yourself to The Noizy Oyster - you can thank me later!
